Skylabs announced that it has signed a distribution agreement in Japan with Japanese medical device company Omron Healthcare for co-branded wellness products.
Through this agreement, the two companies will combine Skylabs’ health monitoring technology with Omron Healthcare’s distribution network to help users in the Japanese market manage their health more effectively.
The product scheduled for release is a wellness product rather than a medical device, and will broadly support personal health management by adding various functions such as physical activity, heart rate, rest, and sleep monitoring, centered on the blood pressure fluctuation monitoring function of the existing product, 'Cart BP Pro'.
Hiroyuki Kato, General Manager of Omron Healthcare Japan, said, “Through this collaboration, users can now conveniently obtain the health information they need in their daily lives,” and “We will continue to work to enable more people to live healthy lives.”
Skylabs CEO Lee Byeong-hwan said, “You can accurately understand your body only if you consistently measure your health status. This joint brand product will be an opportunity to help various users, including the elderly, easily manage their health,” and added, “We will provide the best service so that users can easily check and manage their health information anytime, anywhere.”
