
Seoul Fintech Lab announced that it will hold a 'Fintech Startup Meeting' on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at the 8th floor training center of Seoul Fintech Lab to provide a venue for communication between Seoul City and fintech startups. Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon and representatives of companies in Seoul Fintech Lab will participate in this meeting to share in-depth opinions on the current status and development direction of the fintech industry.
The city of Seoul has recently been making policy efforts to enhance the rapid growth of the fintech industry and its competitiveness in the global market, and to this end, it is emphasizing active communication with fintech companies. This meeting is expected to be an important opportunity for Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon to directly hear the opinions of fintech companies and discuss ways to reflect them in policies.
Through this meeting, Seoul Fintech Lab provides an opportunity to provide more practical and direct support to companies in residence, and provides an important communication platform where companies can directly convey their promotions and suggestions to the Mayor of Seoul. Companies attending this meeting will have the opportunity to directly communicate with the Mayor of Seoul, and there will also be a place to introduce each company's business model and performance and convey suggestions. A total of six representative fintech companies, including '(주)비해피', '(주)유동산', '(주)크로휴브', and '(주)후시파너스', will participate in this meeting and briefly introduce their companies.
A Seoul Fintech Lab official said, “This meeting will serve as an opportunity to promote mutual understanding between the mayor of Seoul and fintech startups, and to strengthen the city’s policy efforts to further vitalize the fintech industry.” He added, “By reflecting the voices of key startups in policies, we will contribute to developing Seoul into a global fintech hub.”
