The Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy and Innovation (hereafter referred to as the “Gyeonggi Innovation Center”) announced on the 25th that it had completed the “2025 Startup Leap Package Business Briefing Session.” This briefing session was held amidst high interest in the Startup Leap Package business, and was attended by over 100 startup entrepreneurs in the leap stage.
At the briefing session, the Gyeonggi Innovation Center, as the main organization, introduced the Startup Leap Team's program information, recruitment period, application qualifications, support contents, etc. In addition, attendees had time to resolve their curiosity through a Q&A session related to the business.
The Gyeonggi Innovation Center recruits startups in two types: △Corporate Collaboration Type (KT, LG Electronics) and △Parallel Investment Type. In particular, the Gyeonggi Innovation Center is the only center in the country to operate the 'Startup Leap Package (Parallel Investment Type)', which shows a strength that differentiates it from other leading organizations. The 'Startup Leap Package (Corporate Collaboration Type)' provides startups with business strategies and collaboration opportunities through collaboration with KT and LG Electronics.
The 'Startup Leap Package (Large Business Collaboration Type)' provides up to 200 million won in commercialization funds, with an average of 130 million won. The KT track recruits companies in the AI/Cloud, ICT Convergence, and Media/Content fields, while the LG Electronics track recruits companies in the wellness and digital content fields. It is expected that collaboration with large corporations will support the growth of startups and help them make a leap forward.
The 'Startup Leap Package (Parallel Investment)' provides up to 200 million won in commercialization funds, with an average of 150 million won, and is structured to receive 1:1 matching investment from Korea Venture Investment (KVIC), helping startups not to have difficulties in attracting investment. Through this support, startups can secure important operating funds and have the opportunity to grow.
Companies wishing to apply for the business must apply online through the K-Startup website by 4:00 PM on March 13, and must select ‘Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy and Innovation’ as the hosting organization.
An official from the Startup Leap Team at the Gyeonggi Innovation Center said, “If you are interested in the Startup Leap Package, we recommend that you attend the second business briefing session to be held in Goyang to obtain additional information.”
