Cosmo Robotics CEO Oh Ju-young received a commendation from the Minister of Health and Welfare in recognition of his contributions to the development of the Korean medical device industry.
The awards ceremony was held at the 46th regular general meeting of the Korea Medical Device Cooperative (Chairman Lee Young-gyu) held at the Libera Hotel in Gangnam-gu, Seoul on February 26, and CEO Oh Ju-young received the award at the event.
Since taking office as CEO of Cosmo Robotics in 2019, CEO Oh Joo-young has been highly evaluated for leading the domestic and international rehabilitation robot market and strengthening industrial competitiveness. Cosmo Robotics is a company that manufactures intelligent wearable rehabilitation robots and industrial robots, and supplies products tailored to various age groups and types of disabilities. Major products include the ground walking robot 'EA2 Pro', the children's walking rehabilitation robot 'Bambini Teens', and the industrial wearable robot 'EXA-W'.
In particular, Cosmo Robotics acquired the three major global certifications last year: US FDA 510K, European Union CE, and China CFDA.
Meanwhile, Cosmo Robotics, an affiliate of Cosmo Group, is preparing for a technology-specific listing with the goal of listing on KOSDAQ in 2026.
