
Hotel digital transformation solution company Tioderstay (CEO Yong-un Kim) announced on the 27th that it signed a business agreement with Hancom With (CEO Sang-yeop Song), an affiliate of Hancom Group, for 'joint development of smart pass-based hotel services'.
This agreement is a collaborative project to promote contactless and smart hotel check-in and check-in processes by combining The O'Dour Stay's hotel operation platform 'i'stay' and Hancom With's smart pass technology.
The signing ceremony was held at Hancom With’s headquarters in Bundang-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do, and was attended by representatives and key executives from both companies. The main contents of the agreement are the digital transformation of the hotel customer journey, such as reducing the burden of on-site hotel personnel, enhancing customer experience, creating synergy between the technology infrastructures of both companies, and introducing smart check-in and guest authentication systems.
Prior to the agreement, the two companies discussed the non-face-to-face check-in service model and initial test plans through the 'Istay Smart Pass Service Development Meeting', and specified the direction of technological cooperation centered on the application of AI-based facial authentication systems and keyless systems. In the future, the two companies plan to continue comprehensive cooperation including service enhancement, joint marketing, and operation of customer-targeting test beds.
“Hotel check-in and entry are the first steps of the customer experience and also a section where a lot of operational resources are invested. Through our collaboration with Hancom With, we will establish a non-face-to-face hotel operation solution and accelerate digital transformation,” said Yong-un Kim, CEO of Tioderstay.
Hancom With CEO Song Sang-yeop said, “As the scope of application of facial recognition technology is expanding, we will create a safe digital authentication environment and realize innovation in non-face-to-face customer experience in the hotel smart pass market.”
