ACL affiliate Woodl Co., Ltd. (CEO Bae Hwang-geun) has completed the registration of the trademark for the integrated communication platform ‘Woodl’ and patent applications in 10 fields.
Woodle, which stands for 'Our Communication World', provides a one-stop service for GPS location tracking of self-manufactured kids watch phones, used phone trading, and real-time terminal price comparison systems. CEO Bae Hwang-geun explained, "It is an innovative platform that will present a new paradigm in communications. In particular, we have established a safe and transparent transaction environment through 72 offline affiliated stores nationwide."
Attorney Kim Tae-hoon of the patent law firm Innobank, which processed Woodeul’s patent, said, “Woodeul’s commercialization plan for unmanned point-of-sale technology is impressive,” and “In addition, the technology owned by our affiliate ACL, such as liquid crystal polishing equipment and offline store platform management, is an achievement that shows technological innovation that differentiates it from existing integrated communication platforms.”
CEO Bae Hwang-geun emphasized, “We will continue to provide more advanced services through continuous research and development and realize our vision of ‘Communication is all about the woods.’”
Meanwhile, parent company ACL is also standing out in the global market. With the global used phone market expected to grow to 147 trillion won by 2027, ACL has secured market leadership by achieving the 10 million dollar export tower this year.
