Seoul Technopark (SeoulTP) announced on the 10th that the first round of the 'Seoul City Strategic Industry Intensive Promotion Company Support Program', conducted in cooperation with Seoul National University of Science and Technology (LINC 3.0 Business Group), has ended. This program targeted companies in specialized industries such as AI and robotics located in Seoul, and was conducted for approximately two months from December 2024 to January 2025.
This program was planned to maximize synergy effects through linkage with the strategic industries designated by Seoul City and the Specialized Industrial Collaboration Center (ICC) of the LINC 3.0 Business Group. The program consisted of corporate difficulties and demand technology surveys, technology commercialization consulting, and customized education programs to meet the technological needs of companies and resolve their difficulties. In particular, differentiated consulting was provided through customized expert matching for each company, and participating companies received great help in solving technical problems and strengthening market competitiveness.
Participating companies reported that they were able to solve technical problems that they had not been able to solve with the support of experts, and that their understanding of AI technology trends and business strategies greatly improved through customized training. The satisfaction survey results were also very positive, and the demand for participation from companies exceeded expectations, confirming the high market interest in customized support programs.
Based on the successful results of the first program, Seoul TP and LINC 3.0 plan to continuously expand support for fostering strategic industries in Seoul. The second program includes various support activities to further strengthen the technological and commercialization capabilities of companies, and will provide patent evaluation reports, MINI patent portfolio construction, and technology commercialization consulting.
Seoul TP and LINC 3.0 Business Group stated, “We will continue to provide support for fostering strategic industries in Seoul, thereby strengthening cooperation between companies, universities, and institutions and contributing to enhancing Seoul’s industrial competitiveness.”
