
Gyeonggi Content Promotion Agency (hereinafter referred to as Gyeongconjin) and Gimpo Cultural Foundation signed a ‘Business Agreement for Content Industry Development’ at Gimpo Media Arts Center on February 7. The signing ceremony was attended by Gyeongconjin Director Tak Yong-seok, Gimpo Cultural Foundation CEO Lee Gye-hyeon, Gyeonggi Provincial Assembly member Hong Won-gil, and other relevant officials. The main content of the agreement is to strengthen the activation and exchange of convergence content between Gyeonggi Province and Gimpo City.
The two organizations agreed to promote the production of cultural convergence content such as media and video, and to promote the sharing of facilities and equipment and cooperation in regional information networks. In addition, through this agreement, Gyeongkonjin and Gimpo Cultural Foundation will establish a sustainable cooperative relationship for the development of regional culture and convergence content industries, and work together to vitalize the regional media content ecosystem.
Kyungkonjin Director Tak Yong-seok said, “Kyungkonjin is promoting various projects including content production that reflects the regional characteristics of 31 cities and counties and a dedicated system for 31 cities and counties. We look forward to close business cooperation with Gimpo City through this agreement.”
