Next Dream Angel Club, '5th Next Dreams Day' held

Next Dream Angel Club announced that it held the '5th Next Dreams Day' at the Hotel Naru Seoul MGallery Ambassador Hotel in Seoul.

This event was attended by co-investors and follow-up investors of Next Dream Angel Club portfolio companies, including Smilegate Investment, CNT Tech, Sopung Ventures, Gaia Venture Partners, Korea University Technology Holdings, Korea Social Investment, JCH Investment, and Kangwon National University Technology Holdings. Major institutions, including the Korea Angel Investment Association, SK Securities, JB Woori Capital, and Money Today The Bell, also attended the event.

Next Dream Angel Club is an angel club established in 2018, and is comprised of approximately 150 professionals including VC reviewers, doctors, lawyers, patent attorneys, IBs, and corporate CEOs. This 'Next Dreams Day' was held for the fifth time since December 2019, and approximately 70 people including portfolio company CEOs and employees, angel club members, venture capital and accelerator reviewers gathered to review their portfolios and share their vision for 2025.

A total of 16 Next Dream Angel Club portfolio companies participated in the event, including Biosion (Moina), Sipilriter (Lifepet), Topolab, Top Mobility, Blue Labs (Oyster Fury), Refilly (Local Stock), Scone (Michu), Tree Farm (Plant Hall), Imagineers (Parabus), Quantified ESG, Bycell Standard (Peace), Park Ju-ting, Open Plan (Toggle), Butok, Early Slows (Pocket Survey), and Granmachan (Mill & Daily).

Participating companies shared their service introductions and 2024 performance, announced future fundraising plans, and conducted networking to attract follow-up investments from venture capitalists, accelerators, etc.

This event was divided into four chapters: AI, ESG, Fintech, and Lifestyle & Contents. The CEOs of each company participated in panel discussions and shared cases of business partnerships and follow-up investment. A session was held to explore synergies between each company, providing an opportunity to discuss cooperation plans between portfolio companies.

Next Dream Angel Club Chairman Tae Seong-hwan said, “Annual events like Next Dreams Day are very meaningful in that they provide portfolio companies with the network they need for follow-up investments,” and added, “We plan to continue investing in deep tech fields such as AI, ESG, and digital healthcare.”
