Busan Changgyeong, Seoul Metropolitan HR Target 'Busan-style workation' briefing session ends

Busan Creative Economy Innovation Center (CEO Yongwoo Kim, hereinafter referred to as Busan Creative Economy) announced that it held 'HR Insight Night – Organizational Culture, Work-Ha-Ji?' for HR managers and office workers at companies in the metropolitan area at Dream Plus in Gangnam, Seoul on Wednesday, June 25th, together with Busan Metropolitan City and the HR manager community 'Gigomanjang'.

This briefing session, with the subtitle 'Workation that changes organizations, it starts in Busan', was organized to introduce Busan-style workation to companies seeking to change rigid work cultures and share insights that can be applied in actual work situations. Approximately 70 people attended, and it was held on a weekday evening with Busan's representative food, fish cake pocha.

The program consisted of ▲ a case study on improving the working style by Lee Seon-min, team leader of Hanon Systems, ▲ an organizational culture branding strategy by the welfare manager of Gong Angel Nexon Games, ▲ a presentation on the introduction of workation by Kim Ho-dong, HR team leader of S&A, etc., providing an opportunity to consider the possibility of practical introduction. Next, Busan Changgyeong Jang Yeong-eun, team leader of workation TF, introduced the operational structure of Busan-style workation and customized support plans for companies.

A fish cake pocha with a Busan-style atmosphere was operated at the site, and participants experienced various events such as Work Quiz (workation quiz show), stamp mission, and lucky draw.

In particular, the event also introduced the '1 Night 2 Day Team Workshop Support Event' where you can experience Busan workation firsthand. This workshop is a program designed to allow company managers to experience workation in Busan firsthand and examine the possibility of introducing it to their companies. About 40 companies applied to participate on-site, and after the event, the selected companies will be provided with a practical workation experience opportunity that combines accommodation, workspace, and local tourism.

In addition, Busan Changgyeong also runs 'Business Briefing Sessions on the Go' for various regional companies including the metropolitan area throughout the year. After coordinating the schedule through online application, briefing sessions are held by visiting individual companies in person, and related guidance and consultation were also provided on-site at this event.

Busan Changgyeong Jeong Yu-na PM said, “This briefing session was an opportunity to share the new possibilities that workation can provide to companies that are considering organizational culture innovation and talent retention,” and added, “We will continue to hold briefing sessions in various regions including the metropolitan area in the future and work hard to attract actual companies and expand the policy.”

Busan Changgyeong announced that it plans to continue to actively expand workation to innovate corporate culture and create a flexible work environment, and to continue to expand experience-oriented events and customized corporate partnerships.
