Future mobility solution company Wiplo (CEO Kim Ui-jeong) will participate in the '2025 Defense Industry Parts, Materials, and Equipment Exhibition' held at Changwon Convention Center from July 9 to 11 and showcase a drone inspection solution specialized in the defense sector.
'Defense Industry Parts, Materials, and Equipment Exhibition' is a representative domestic defense industry exhibition where you can view domestic and international defense industry technologies and products. The weapon systems of the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps and the core technologies that make up the future battlefield environment are introduced. This event is expected to serve as a platform for defense industry technology exchange and expansion of civilian-military cooperation.
At this exhibition, Wiflow will demonstrate and introduce its technology centered around the 'verti-Pit Hub' and 'verti-Pit mini', products for defense applications among the 'verti-Pit' series of intelligent drone inspection solutions.
'Verti-Pit Hub' is a base-mounted solution that automatically checks the pre- and post-flight status of drones using AI-based non-contact sensors. It is designed to increase the stability of drone operation in tactical bases and remote areas, and to contribute to improving operational sustainability and equipment reliability through predictive maintenance functions. Its main features are reducing dependence on manpower and increasing the operating rate of defense assets through a data-based maintenance system.
'Verti-Pit mini' is a portable inspection solution specialized for small drones. It diagnoses the drone status in real time right before being deployed to the field, predicts potential defects, and minimizes risks during operations. The product was recognized for its technological prowess by winning the CES 2025 Drone Innovation Award, and its goal is to reduce the burden on operating personnel and support stable drone operation.
“This exhibition is an opportunity to see how Wiplo’s technology can be applied in actual combat systems,” said Whiplo CEO Kim Eui-jung. “We will directly convey through on-site demonstrations how AI-based drone inspection solutions can improve operational efficiency and sustainable operation capabilities in the defense sector.”
