The Korean Red Cross Seoul Branch and Cheongdam Woori Hospital Sign Business Agreement

The Seoul Branch of the Korean Red Cross (Chairman Kwon Young-kyu) announced on July 3 that it signed a business agreement (MOU) with Cheongdam Wooridul Hospital (Chairman Lee Sang-ho, Director Shin Sang-ha) to spread a culture of sharing and improve the medical welfare of Red Cross volunteers.

This agreement was prepared to expand humanitarian practices and life protection activities within the local community, and the agreement signing ceremony was held on the 2nd at Woori Hospital in Cheongdam-dong, Seoul, with representatives from both organizations in attendance. The agreement was signed by Seoul Branch Chairman Kwon Young-gyu and Hospital Director Shin Sang-ha.

The main contents of the agreement are ▲cooperation in volunteer activities to protect the socially disadvantaged ▲spreading a sound donation culture ▲participation in blood donation and life protection movements, etc. In particular, it is expected to contribute to the improvement of medical welfare as it includes practical medical service support measures including medical fee reduction benefits for Red Cross volunteers.

Chairman Kwon Young-gyu said, “The humanitarian values and social contribution activities of Cheongdam Woori Hospital are in line with the spirit of the Red Cross,” and added, “I would like to express my gratitude to the hospital for participating in providing practical support to volunteers.”

Director Shin Sang-ha said, “Our hospital has been continuously providing medical services and support activities for over 40 years since its establishment,” and “Through this agreement, we will actively cooperate so that those in need can receive treatment and recover a healthy life.”
