Lulumedic and AWS Collaborate to Advance Cloud Infrastructure and Medical AI Services

Healthcare data platform company LuluMedic (Co-CEOs Youngwoong Kim and Sunghan Woo) announced on the 3rd that it will work with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to advance cloud-based infrastructure and strengthen medical artificial intelligence (AI) services.

This collaboration covers a variety of technical areas, including securing the stability and scalability of cloud infrastructure, structuring medical data for AI utilization, optimizing the provision of SaaS-type services, and strengthening the information protection certification system. Key collaboration topics include efficient management and analysis of large-scale bio data, improving the certification process to respond to domestic and international security and personal information regulations, and cost optimization and resource management methods in AI and big data environments.

Lulumedic has been selected as a leading medical MyData service provider by the Personal Information Protection Commission, Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA), and Korea Health Industry Information Service (KHIS), and is currently operating 'd'stat', the only medical MyData platform in Korea that allows overseas linkage. It is expanding medical data-based services by cooperating with various medical institutions, pharmaceutical companies, and platform companies, and is also participating in government-led digital healthcare projects.

Through this collaboration with AWS, the company plans to strengthen its global-level security system while incorporating the latest AI technology into its platform. In particular, it will also pursue the direction of improving the safety and accessibility of medical services for citizens residing overseas by linking the global medical concierge service 'Assist Card' with the Disstat platform.

Medical MyData and related AI industries are fields that have recently been receiving attention at the government level through policies such as establishing digital healthcare infrastructure, biohealth-specific R&D, and fostering the artificial intelligence industry. This collaboration is evaluated as an example of private-sector-led technological innovation creating synergy through linkage with the public healthcare system.

A LuluMedic official said, “Through our collaboration with AWS, we will further enhance the security and reliability of our medical mydata business, while strengthening our AI technology capabilities to grow into a trusted medical data specialist company.”
