DreamAce, a mobility solutions specialist, announced that it has been registered with the Raspberry Pi Foundation's official certification program, 'Powered by Raspberry Pi', and has been recognized as an official partner in the automobile development field.
Through this certification, DreamAce has gone beyond simple technical certification and has established a partnership with the Raspberry Pi Foundation to pursue joint growth in the global mobility market based on mutual cooperation.
'Powered by Raspberry Pi' is an official certification program awarded to products based on Raspberry Pi that are recognized for their technological prowess and innovation. With this approval, Dream Ace has been recognized as a product that utilizes Raspberry Pi as a core component for its vehicle software verification and simulation solution, DRIM-SIM.
As the complexity and importance of in-vehicle software rapidly increases due to the rapid technological evolution of the automotive industry, sophisticated verification systems are essential from the early stages of development. Accordingly, simulation-based solutions that enable testing and verification in a virtual environment without an actual vehicle are gaining attention.
DRIM-SIM is a verification and simulation platform for automotive electronic control unit (ECU) software in response to the software-defined vehicle (SDV) era. It provides the function to precisely verify ECU operation by virtually implementing a vehicle environment without an actual vehicle. The system uses Raspberry Pi-based DRIM-Pi and DRIM-PiVio modules as core components, enabling low-cost and highly flexible prototyping while supporting various vehicle communication protocols (such as CAN-FD, UART, GPIO, etc.).
DreamAce has been actively introducing the board from the initial design stage of DRIM-SIM, focusing on the high expandability and industrial usability of the Raspberry Pi platform. Through this official registration, DreamAce has proven that its technological prowess is recognized in the global hardware ecosystem, and plans to further accelerate its global market penetration through continued collaboration with the Raspberry Pi Foundation in the future.
“Through this product certification and partnership with the Raspberry Pi Foundation, we have once again verified the technical reliability and global market suitability of our DRIM-SIM solution,” said Lee Se-yeon, CCO (Chief Creative Officer) of DreamAce. “We will continue to strive to advance our technology to provide an economical and powerful verification environment that our customers need.”
