Seoul Technopark (President Jong-wook Yoon, hereinafter referred to as 'Seoul TP') announced on the 11th that it was selected as a consortium participating organization for the '2025 Private Cloud-based AI·Data Lake Utilization Support Project' hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National Intelligence Service (NIA).
The main goal of this project is to collect and refine distributed enterprise support and equipment utilization data in the region by utilizing private cloud infrastructure and large-scale language model (LLM) technology, and to build and utilize AI learning data with high potential for use by industry.
In this project, Seoul TP will participate in a consortium led by Work Intelligence Co., Ltd., together with the Technology Information Promotion Agency for Small and Medium Businesses (TIPA). Its main roles will include collecting data based on regional corporate demand, establishing an industry-specific demand survey system, utilizing demand-tailored equipment data, planning QA scenarios based on technology demand, establishing refinement indicators, and reviewing the application of intelligent models, etc., all of which will be covered.
Through this project, Seoul Technopark plans to develop a generative AI-based consulting system called 'RISE-GPT (tentative name)' that supports resolution of technical difficulties and consulting functions for small and medium-sized enterprises. This system is expected to contribute to the expansion of the AI learning data ecosystem in the public sector through linkages with related organizations nationwide.
According to the business schedule, AI learning based on regional business support and equipment utilization data will be conducted until November of this year, and the initial version of 'RISE-GPT' will be developed based on this. After that, from December, after a pilot operation, we will begin to advance the consulting model and establish a strategy for nationwide expansion of the public-private cooperation model.
Yoon Jong-wook, head of Seoul Technopark, said, “Through this project, we will establish an AI-based support system that reflects the needs of local companies and contribute to the creation of an innovation ecosystem based on digital technology.”
