The flame retardant integrated eco-friendly insulation paint developed by JH Global (CEO Oh Ju-myeong), an investment company of the Incheon Creative Economy Innovation Center (hereinafter referred to as the Incheon Center), has been designated as an innovative product by the Public Procurement Service. This designation is the result of JH Global’s product being recognized for its potential as a highly functional eco-friendly building material that integrates three functions: flame propagation prevention, energy saving, and indoor air quality improvement.
As interest in fire resistance and energy efficiency of buildings has increased due to the recent occurrence of large-scale forest fires, the product is expected to be used more widely in the public sector based on its technology that can simultaneously suppress the spread of fire and minimize energy loss. As it has been designated as an innovative product by the Public Procurement Service, JH Global will be able to provide priority supplies through direct contracts to high-risk facilities such as schools, hospitals, and public buildings in the future, and plans to fully advance into the public market.
This designation of innovative products by the Public Procurement Service is in line with the government’s policies on carbon neutrality, energy efficiency, and climate disaster response, and JH Global’s products are being evaluated as an example of meeting the demand for low-carbon technology and disaster-responsive building materials in the public sector. A company official said, “With a sense of responsibility that technological innovation leads to public safety, we will expand safe and sustainable building solutions in both the public and private markets.”
