Twigfarm, a content AI specialized company, announced on the 14th that it had won two major projects simultaneously in the first public offering of the '2025 Ultra-Large AI Diffusion Ecosystem Creation' project promoted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National Intelligence Service (NIA).
The 'K-Stock Content Data Construction' project, in which TwigFarm is participating as the main organization, is a project to construct image-text multimodal data based on unique content such as Korean traditional culture, nature, and food, and to disclose it on the AI Hub. Through this project, approximately 1 million sentences of Korean-English caption data will be produced, and a 3-step labeling system based on CoT (Cognition of Thought) will be introduced to improve the problems of bias and lack of explanation in existing stock content.
In addition, in the 'Media and Content De-identification and Cleanbone Data Construction' project carried out as a participating organization, the technology for automatic identification and removal of sensitive elements such as faces, subtitles, and logos in video content will be advanced, and a subtitle-removed cleanbone video and object-based caption dataset will be constructed.
TwigFarm has accumulated content processing technologies such as multilingual subtitles, dubbing, audio cleaning, and image quality correction through its video localization platform LETR WORKS. In this project, the goal is to build AI learning data with enhanced accuracy and reliability by combining generative AI-based technology and an expert review system.
Twigfarm expects that this project contract will contribute to securing the global competitiveness of the domestic content industry through the advancement of AI learning infrastructure, as well as establishing a data independence foundation in preparation for the future era of sovereign AI.
This project is being promoted as a strategic task to enhance the nation’s AI competitiveness, and is also in line with the policy directions presented in the “Policy Tasks for Becoming an AI Powerhouse” and the “National Intelligence Information White Paper,” such as expanding data resources, establishing public AI infrastructure, and securing AI sovereignty.
