
Save the Children Central Regional Headquarters (Director Shim Hye-seol) announced on the 11th that it signed a business agreement with the Daejeon Film Association’s Scene Young Sai (CEO Bae Ki-won) regarding the promotion of the Cine Children’s Rights Project to improve awareness of children’s rights.
This agreement was promoted as part of efforts to create an environment that respects children's rights and spreads them throughout society, and aims to raise awareness of children's rights through film content and contribute to improving the quality of life.
Daejeon Film Association Scene Young Sai is a non-profit organization that has contributed to the development of local film culture through film production and film-related education programs. Through this agreement, it will participate in activities to promote children's rights together with Save the Children.
The main contents of the agreement include ▲Screening of Save the Children children's rights films ▲Cooperation in operating children's rights experience programs ▲Establishment of a support system for children's rights projects ▲Other mutual cooperation matters for promoting children's rights.
As part of the agreement, the two organizations plan to operate a children's rights film screening and experience booth at the 4th Daejeon International Short Film Festival to be held at Daejeon Expo Citizen's Square from August 30th to 31st.
Bae Ki-won, the representative of the Daejeon Film Association’s Scene Young Sai, said, “I hope that this meaningful film screening on the topic of children’s rights will provide an opportunity for more citizens to empathize with children’s rights.”
Shim Hye-seol, the head of Save the Children’s Central Regional Headquarters, said, “This is a great opportunity to raise awareness of children’s rights through film, and we will continue to work to ensure that children’s rights are respected in the future.”
