The Seoul Economic Promotion Agency (SBA, CEO Kim Hyun-woo) announced that it will hold the 'SPP International Contents Market 2025' for three days from Wednesday, September 24 to Friday, September 26.
The event will be held at the Westin Chosun Seoul and a complex cultural facility near City Hall, and will feature various investment and networking programs centered around 1:1 business consultations between domestic and international content sellers and buyers.
The SPP International Contents Market, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, has established itself as the largest B2B comprehensive content market in Korea since its first launch in 2001, bringing together key players in the content industry. Content companies from various fields, including webtoons, web novels, animation, characters, games, movies, series, short-form dramas, and content-specialized platforms, gather in one place.
This year, SPP 2025 consists of strategic programs to create real business results beyond simple consultations. The 1:1 business consultation sessions held during the event provide various collaboration opportunities, from IP discovery, investment linkage, co-production, and overseas expansion, through customized meetings between domestic and international content sellers and global buyers.
In particular, this year, new networking programs, ‘Seoul Night’ and ‘Content Meetup’, will be launched for the first time.
This program is designed to provide an opportunity for participants to explore business opportunities and collaboration possibilities through networking in a more casual atmosphere. In addition, investment consultation meetings, IR showcases, SPP nights, forums, and conferences will be held to focus on information exchange and strengthening partnerships between participating companies and buyers.
Detailed program information regarding the event can be found on the SPP official website .
Jeon Dae-hyun, head of the Creative Industries Division at the Seoul Economic Promotion Agency, said, “The SPP International Contents Market 2025 was planned with a focus on providing customized support based on the demands of the domestic and international content markets and industries, so that Seoul can leap forward as a global content business hub based on past achievements.” He added, “This year, we have especially strengthened new programs centered on networking, and we plan to actively support the creation of a sustainable cooperative ecosystem among major players in the content market going forward.”
