Bespin Global , an AI managed service company, announced on the 17th that it has finalized the acquisition of AI company Cognet Nine through its holding company Newberry Global. Cognet Nine is a subsidiary of Aju Group, and through this acquisition, Bespin Global plans to accelerate the expansion of its AI capabilities in the financial sector and the establishment of an integrated platform based on generative AI.
This acquisition is part of a strategy to respond to the growing demand for AI-based business automation and advancement of AI Contact Center (AICC) technology specialized in the financial sector. Through collaboration with Cognet Nine, Bespin Global plans to maximize the technological synergy between its ‘HelpNow Agentic AI Platform’ and Cognet Nine’s ‘PLUGNET⁺’ and fully support the digital transformation of financial companies.
Aju Group plans to sell its stake in Cognet Nine to Newberry Global and participate as a strategic equity investor in Newberry Global, continuing its partnership and support for growth.
Cognet Nine provides full-cycle services from consulting to construction and operation to enterprise customers based on the 'AI Managed Service Framework' that systematizes the entire AI introduction process into 9 steps. It has proven its technological prowess and industrial understanding through projects such as Samsung Welstory and SSG.COM in the distribution and manufacturing sectors as well as financial institutions such as KB Kookmin Bank, KB Insurance, and Lotte Card.
Cognet Nine's flagship solution, 'Plugnet Plus', is a multi-AI and multi-LLM (large-scale language model)-based enterprise platform that supports the integrated use of various AI technologies without being dependent on specific technologies. In particular, it is receiving positive reviews from companies that have introduced it because it can create and operate enterprise-tailored AI agents based on agentic workflows.
“Cognet Nine’s understanding of the financial domain and project experience will play a key role in strengthening Bespin Global’s AI business,” said Bespin Global CSO (Vice President) Seongno Yoon. “Through this acquisition, we will grow into a company with expertise and competitiveness by providing industry-specific AI solutions.”
An official from Aju Group said, “We decided that collaboration with external professional partners is important for Cognet Nine to continue its growth,” and “We will continue to work closely with Newberry Global and Bespin Global as strategic investors.”
