Innogrid (CEO Myungjin Kim) , a cloud computing and digital transformation (DT) specialist company, announced on the 17th that it had been selected as a preferred negotiating party for the 'Domestic Equipment/SW Development Enhancement and Verification' project hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency.
This project is being promoted with the aim of reducing the dependence on foreign products for data center infrastructure and increasing the competitiveness of domestic equipment and software. Through this project, Innogrid will advance and localize DCIM (Data Center Infrastructure Management) using AI-based prediction and automation technology.
Since 2009, Innogrid has been developing its own cloud full-stack solutions, including IaaS, PaaS, and CMP, and has provided cloud infrastructure construction and operation services to various industries, including the public, financial, and education sectors. Recently, its technological prowess has been recognized by the Ministry of Science and ICT, including being designated as an ‘Excellent Corporate Research Institute.’
In this demonstration project, the lead organization, Innogrid, and the joint research organization, WMB, will develop a total of four core technologies, including ▲3D digital twin-based DCIM system ▲AI-based performance prediction analysis system ▲CMP construction and DCIM linkage technology ▲integrated operation management platform, and conduct verification through an actual test bed.
Through this project, Innogrid expects to improve the energy efficiency and operational stability of data centers and reduce operating costs and improve service quality by implementing a prediction-based fault response system. In addition, it plans to increase technological independence and explore the possibility of overseas expansion through verification of domestic equipment and software.
Innogrid CEO Myungjin Kim said, “This selection as the preferred negotiating party is significant in that it recognizes the competitiveness of our CMP technology in the AI-based DCIM field,” and added, “We will continue to expand our position in the cloud and AI infrastructure market through technological advancements in the future.”
