Unidocs Co., Ltd. (CEO Ki-Tae Jeong) announced on the 21st that its live coaching cloud service has obtained the CSAP (Cloud Security Assurance Program, cloud security certification) standard grade from the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA).
CSAP certification is a system designed to enable public institutions to more safely introduce private cloud services, and comprehensively evaluates security and reliability. The standard grade obtained by Unidocs' service can be obtained only after passing an examination of 79 control items in 13 areas, including administrative and technical protection measures and additional protection measures for public institutions. This includes approximately 2.5 times more evaluation items than the simple grade (11 areas, 31 items).
Unidocs' certified live coaching cloud service is a SaaS-based education platform that provides functions specialized for the educational field, such as real-time two-way classes, PDF content sharing, note-taking functions, and automatic grading. Based on this certification, Unidocs plans to make a full-fledged entry into the public and educational institution markets by linking the service with its own educational services, such as ezPDF CLASS.
A company official said, “Through the CSAP standard grade certification, we have objectively proven the security and stability required in the public sector,” and added, “We will continue to strengthen our technological capabilities to create a safe and efficient digital education environment going forward.”
