
The Korea Venture Business Association (Chairman Song Byung-jun) announced the results of the operation of the 'Venture Finance Forum' in the first half of 2025 on the 22nd. According to the association, the forum in the first half of this year supported a total of 12.5 billion won in fund raising and financial linkage, making a practical contribution to resolving venture companies' difficulties in raising funds.
In the first half of this year, ▲4 IR presentations (24 companies participated) ▲53 1:1 investor meetings (38 companies) ▲29 1:1 expert consultations (27 companies) were held. The forum was structured around customized financial programs tailored to the growth stage and needs of each company, and focused on providing practical solutions related to fund raising.
According to a survey of companies participating in the forum, five companies attracted a total of KRW 6.57 billion in investment, and 18 companies recorded a total of KRW 5.94 billion in guarantee and loan-related performance. The cumulative performance since the launch of the forum (as of July 2023) is ▲ KRW 111.77 billion in investment attraction (26 companies) ▲ KRW 9.91 billion in guarantee and loan-related performance (22 companies).
An association official said, “The Venture Finance Forum is supporting the attraction of practical investment and financial connections for venture companies to scale up,” and “We plan to continuously expand customized financial support necessary for each company’s stage of growth.”
The Venture Finance Forum is scheduled to be held four times in total in the second half of the year. The 17th forum will be held on Tuesday, August 12, and each session will feature IR presentations, expert consultations, networking with investors, and special lectures. The main scheduled lectures are ▲ August ‘Entrepreneurship – Growth – IPO Strategy’ (Lee Jong-joo, CEO of Now Robotics) ▲ September ‘Commercial Law Amendment and Legal Issues’ (Lee Jong-gun, CEO of Ihoo Law Firm).
