Chungnam Content Promotion Agency (Director Kim Gok-mi, hereinafter referred to as the Promotion Agency) announced that it held a meeting of participating organizations to review the progress of the 'Taean-gun Small and Medium-sized Smart City Development Project' and discuss the second-half promotion plan together with Taean-gun on the 24th in the Promotion Agency conference room.
This meeting was attended by participating organizations such as Hyundai Construction, Hyundai Urban Development, Hyundai Motors, Taean Passenger Transport, Pintel, Ininos, Admirror, Geumsaem Construction, and Hansung University, who shared the business performance of the first half of the year and discussed difficulties and cooperation plans during the promotion process.
In particular, at the 'World Smart City Expo (WSCE)' held on the 15th, the Promotion Agency and Taean County were honored with the 'WSCE Awards Best Partnership' category award. At this meeting, the award results were shared internally and externally, and the consensus on the importance and necessity of public-private cooperation was reaffirmed.
In addition, by checking the status of each business design promotion and discussing the key tasks and schedules for the second half of the year in detail, an implementation strategy was established to produce tangible results. In addition, we plan to continuously improve problems and build an organic cooperation system by strengthening communication between organizations.
Taean County will create a smart hub centered on medical care and tourism that connects the city center and corporate cities through the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's small and medium-sized smart city development project, and introduce demand-responsive buses and smart bus stops to address regional issues such as aging and population decline.
In addition, we will also actively pursue the establishment of regional smart city services and content, such as ▲intersection pedestrian safety system ▲traditional market robot cart ▲smart city integrated management app and data hub ▲drone performance hall.
Director Kim Gok-mi said, “Please do your utmost to ensure that the ‘Taean-gun Small and Medium Smart City Development Project’ proceeds without a hitch.” She added, “In particular, winning the WSCE Awards this time is a result of the high interest and expectations both domestically and internationally in the Taean-gun Smart City Project.” She added, “We will continue to do our best to create tangible results through close cooperation with Taean-gun and participating organizations and to contribute to improving the quality of life of the county residents.”
