
The Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy and Innovation (CEO Won-kyung Kim, hereinafter referred to as the “Gyeonggi Innovation Center”) announced that it signed a joint cooperation agreement with Gyeonggi Daejin Technopark (hereinafter referred to as “Gyeonggi Daejin TP”) for the purpose of discovering and fostering startups at the Pangyo Startup Zone on the 25th (Friday).
The signing ceremony was attended by key executives and staff from both organizations, including Gyeonggi Innovation Center CEO Kim Won-kyung and Gyeonggi Daejin Tech Park Director Ahn Jun-su.
This business agreement will begin with the 'Gyeonggi Northern Region Startup 815 IR', a preliminary event conducted by the Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy and Innovation through recommendations from major related organizations and local universities in the northern region, including Gyeonggi Daejin Techno Park, and will continue with various detailed discussions, including discovering startups hoping to attract investment.
The two organizations will jointly operate specialized programs such as ▲ discovering and fostering excellent startups, education, consulting, networking, and IR to support and foster the growth of startups with excellent technologies.
▲ Support for smart factory and robot technology linkage for manufacturing and technology-based start-ups ▲ Promotion and linkage support for investment attraction projects of each organization and creation and spread of awareness of intellectual property rights in northern Gyeonggi Province
▲ It was decided to promote support for small business owners in northern Gyeonggi Province, technology transfer, and exchange of technology information.
CEO Kim Won-kyung welcomed the agreement, saying, “We are delighted to have signed a meaningful agreement with Gyeonggi Daejin TP and will continue to expand exchanges to support startups to revitalize the startup ecosystem in the northern Gyeonggi region. The combination of excellent infrastructure and know-how from both organizations will create great synergy.”
