Korea Health and Welfare Human Resources Development Institute, Recruiting for 'Medical AI Healthcare Professional Job Training' Operating Institutions

The Korea Health and Welfare Human Resources Development Institute (President Bae Geum-ju) announced on the 28th that it is publicly recruiting organizations to operate 'Medical AI Healthcare Professional Job Training' to promote digital transformation in the medical field.

This project is being promoted to accelerate AI-based medical innovation and eliminate regional medical gaps, and the key is to operate a customized education program suitable for the hospital site. The project period is from the date of signing the agreement to the end of November, and the support qualification is limited to general hospitals or higher medical institutions with AI-related education capabilities and infrastructure.

Selected institutions will provide practice-oriented AI training to doctors, nurses, medical technicians, IT and AI experts, etc.

President Bae Geum-ju said, “More important than introducing AI is strengthening the capacity to utilize AI in the field,” and added, “Through this project, we will build a cooperative ecosystem between hospitals, AI companies, and academia, and advance digital innovation across treatment, research, and administration.”
