Meraki Place Co., Ltd., which operates the digital healthcare service 'My Doctor', announced on July 31 that its new project 'AI Home Doctor' was finally selected for the '2025 My Data Service Support Project' hosted by the Personal Information Protection Commission and the Korea Internet & Security Agency.
The project involves developing an AI health assistant service based on medical MyData. Meraki Place will receive up to 500 million won in funding for service development and advancement based on this selection.
"AI Home Doctor" is a hyper-personalized service that offers a variety of features based on an individual's health history, including customized health consultations, health status summary reports, disease risk predictions, and personalized health management plan suggestions. This service does not provide medical services (diagnosis or prescriptions) and will operate as a non-medical service focused on improving health awareness and lifestyle habits.
Through this project, Meraki Place plans to strengthen its secure linkage and utilization capabilities for medical MyData and establish a service foundation that allows users to utilize their data more efficiently and safely.
Seon Jae-won, co-CEO of Meraki Place, said, “Medical MyData is a core infrastructure that can be linked to various public and private services beyond personal health management,” and added, “Through this support project, we will establish a standardized data utilization model and further contribute to the creation of a global-level healthcare data ecosystem.”
