Lameditech Co., Ltd. , a laser healthcare specialist, announced on the 1st that it had achieved results in expanding its distribution network in North and South America by participating in the diagnostic medical device exhibition 'ADLM 2025 (Association for Diagnostics & Laboratory Medicine, formerly AACC)' held in Chicago, USA.
At this exhibition, Lameditech showcased its flagship products, the "HandyRay," a needle-free laser lancing device, and the "HandyRay Glu," which integrates with a blood glucose meter and management app. The "HandyRay Glu," in particular, was awarded a 2023 CES Innovation Award and garnered significant interest from global buyers in its non-invasive blood collection technology.
During the exhibition, Lameditech held a business meeting with senior executives from HEB, the sixth-largest supermarket chain in the United States, to discuss supply options through pharmacy distribution channels. The company is also pursuing a strategic collaboration with Immunotics, the US subsidiary of BodytechMed, to collaborate with global medical device distributor Henry Schein.
In addition, at the request of Nova Biomedical of Canada, we are also discussing whether the HandyRay product will participate in a clinical test project for a blood glucose meter scheduled to be conducted at a medical institution in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
Rameditech is using this exhibition as an opportunity to discuss partnerships with approximately 30 distributors in North, Central, and South America, and is also collaborating to expand exports of its pet skin treatment device, RayVet.
A company official stated, “Through our participation in ADLM 2025, we have practically secured the possibility of entering the North American and Central and South American distribution markets,” and added, “Going forward, we plan to focus on expanding sales and the global spread of laser healthcare technology based on our global distribution and clinical networks.”
