AI technology company Crowdworks (CEO Wooseung Kim) announced on the 4th that it had won a contract from Korea Investment & Securities to build an in-house generative AI platform. This contract is part of Crowdworks' ongoing expansion of its AI business in the financial sector since last year, and was achieved based on its generative AI technology and business execution capabilities.
The primary goal of this project is to establish an integrated platform that supports the development and operation of generative AI services within Korea Investment & Securities. Key tasks include: ▲development of generative AI services, ▲establishment of a data system based on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), ▲cloud architecture design, and ▲establishment of a financial security and regulatory response system.
Crowdworks explained its experience in developing and passing the screening of innovative financial services, as well as its ability to provide integrated solutions for the entire AI cycle, encompassing AI model development, verification, and operation, as the background for winning this project.
This project will utilize Crowdworks' proprietary agentic AI solution, Alpy. Alpy is a platform that integrates the functions necessary for implementing agentic AI, including data preprocessing, multi-agent configuration and operation, and performance evaluation. It will help companies efficiently create AI-based work environments.
Korea Investment & Securities plans to build a conversational AI service that can perform a variety of tasks, including document summarization, data analysis, translation, and code writing, based on natural language commands. Furthermore, the platform will provide a user-friendly interface that allows even non-developers to easily configure and operate AI agents. Furthermore, a RAG-based question-and-answer system for accurate responses based on up-to-date information, as well as a cloud-based security and infrastructure system, will be implemented.
Kim Woo-seung, CEO of Crowdworks, said, “Through this project, we have been able to apply the technological capabilities of our agentic AI solution ‘RPi’ to the financial sector,” and added, “Based on our technological expertise and service capabilities, we will expand our business areas to various industrial fields.”
