The Gyeonggi Content Agency (President Yong-seok Tak) announced on the 6th that it will be holding the '2025 Northern Gyeonggi Cultural Creation Hub Second Half Company Recruitment' until September 5th to revitalize the startup ecosystem in the northern Gyeonggi region.
This year marks the 21st round of recruitment and targets aspiring entrepreneurs and content companies established less than seven years ago. Selected companies will be provided with office space free of deposit and management fees, as well as support to ease the burden of initial startup costs.
Recruitment is open to companies in specialized content industries, including publishing, comics, music, games, film, animation, and broadcasting. This includes design-based content convergence companies and startup support companies. In particular, companies specializing in web development, content solutions, and artificial intelligence (AI) technology-based content will receive additional points during the evaluation.
The occupancy space consists of designated single rooms (shared by 6 companies), independent 4-person and 6-person rooms, and open designated seating. The recruitment scale may change depending on whether existing occupant companies extend their stay.
Selected tenant companies will be provided with 24-hour access to office space equipped with desks, chairs, and internet access, as well as free use of dedicated meeting rooms and creative equipment such as 3D printers, CNCs, and laser cutters.
An official from the Gyeonggi Content Agency stated, “Through this recruitment of tenants, we expect startups with diverse growth potential to move in, enhancing the competitiveness of the northern Gyeonggi content industry and contributing to the revitalization of the local startup ecosystem.”
The residency period begins on September 26th, and applications can be submitted through the Gyeonggi Content Agency website until 3:00 PM on September 5th. For further information, please contact the Northern Regional Center at 031-877-2718.
