Vision AI specialist Mesacure Company (CEO Lee Ji-hoon) announced on the 6th that its facial recognition solution 'UFACE v3.0' was designated as an excellent procurement item by the Public Procurement Service.
The Public Procurement Service's Excellent Procurement Product Designation System designates products with proven technological prowess and quality, giving public institutions priority for purchase. These products receive various benefits in public procurement, including negotiated contracts. This designation officially recognizes the reliability and performance of "UFACE v3.0" facial recognition technology, streamlining its adoption and expanding its use in the public sector.
'UFACE v3.0' is a solution that extracts high-dimensional feature vectors from facial images using a standard RGB camera and builds a precise facial database. It can recognize faces even under various conditions, such as when wearing a mask or glasses. Based on an SDK (Software Development Kit), it can be applied to various industrial environments, such as identity verification, access control, and attendance management.
Additionally, its lightweight, CPU-based design delivers stable recognition performance without a GPU, and it is compatible with a variety of operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and Android, as well as various equipment environments, including CCTV, mobile devices, and terminals. This ensures high field applicability and scalability.
This product holds GS Grade 1 certification (No. 25-0092) and KISA performance certification (KISA-BP-2022-011), demonstrating high recognition accuracy under a variety of lighting, facial expression, pose, and accessory conditions. With this designation as a superior product, "UFACE v3.0" has secured a foundation for rapid and stable supply to public institutions without competitive bidding.
With this designation, Mesacure Company plans to strengthen its technical support system for public institutions and enhance its after-sales service. Currently, the solution is being used in various industrial settings for identity verification, contactless access control, and smart office construction.
