Pluto (CEO Lee Jeong-su) , a company specializing in AI language data and solutions, announced on the 7th that it provided its AI simultaneous interpretation solution, 'Live Translation,' to Meta's major Asian events.
Pluto explained that it successfully implemented multilingual real-time interpretation technology by applying the solution to the 'Meta Festival Korea', 'Meta Festival Japan', and the Shanghai Summit in China, which were held in Seoul, Tokyo, and Shanghai respectively from May to July 2025.
These events, held annually by Meta in 11 countries, share marketing and technology trends and include internal and external speaker sessions, panel discussions, and more. Pluto translated the English presentation sessions into each country's language in real time and provided subtitles on a large screen. The screen layout was designed with audience readability in mind, and a glossary of terms was also studied to ensure accurate translation of Meta-related terms.
In particular, at the Shanghai event last July, the company demonstrated technological stability and operational efficiency by providing interpretation services remotely without separate on-site personnel.
Through this collaboration, Pluto participated in large-scale offline events in three Asian countries, demonstrating its AI simultaneous interpretation technology's capabilities at an international level. Going forward, Pluto plans to focus on technological advancements and the development of customized services, as demand grows not only for offline events but also for online platforms such as global webinars.
