AGCC Conducts Orientation and Pre-Training for the "SBA 2025 Second Half Global Expansion Program"

AGCC announced that it held an orientation and pre-training session for the 'Seoul Economic Promotion Agency (SBA) 2025 Second Half Global (UAE) Entry Program' at the Seoul Startup Hub Gongdeok IR Media Room on August 6th.

The 10 companies that were ultimately selected attended this event, where they shared the program's operational direction and localization strategies, and prepared for the full-scale launch of the program through practical Q&A sessions.

The ten companies that were finally selected are Tomorrow Thinking, JSK Biomed, ADP Derma, May I, Bitgleam, Connective, Wipower One, Monet Korea, Tesser, and Team Monolith.

The orientation consisted of an explanation of SBA grant usage regulations and a Q&A session, an introduction to AGCC and a sharing of the Dubai program roadmap, followed by brief introductions and icebreakers for the selected companies. The pre-event training session provided practical insights on "UAE local market trends" and "UAE business etiquette." Participating companies actively asked questions, exchanged feedback, and reviewed their practical tasks.

AGCC Korea CEO Jeon Jeong-hyeon said, “Based on last year’s operational experience, this year we will focus on generating concrete results such as partnerships, PoC (Proof of Concept), and sales leads,” and “We will sequentially conduct local meetups, partner matching, and pitching sessions tailored to each company’s goals to support each team to gain validation in the local market.”

The pre-training lecture was given by Albert Shafiev, Head of AGCC Global Investment Headquarters, and focused on practical examples such as UAE industry and distribution trends, considerations when building partnerships, and local communication etiquette.

Starting with this orientation, AGCC will sequentially hold meetups, buyer and agency meetings, and pitching sessions in Dubai in September and October, and will conduct performance management throughout the entire program.
