The "2025 Nerdinary Festival – AI Transformation," where developers and businesses collaborate to explore ways to respond to the proliferation of artificial intelligence (AI) technology, will be held at D.Camp Front One in Mapo-gu, Seoul, from August 22nd to 23rd. The event, co-hosted by D.Camp and Softsquared, is expected to attract approximately 1,200 IT professionals from across the country.
The event was designed to provide a forum for exploring the changes AI technology is bringing to the development ecosystem and for discussing practical collaboration and growth strategies through exchanges between aspiring and working developers, as well as technology companies.
Decamp is an organization that has contributed to the revitalization of the startup ecosystem by discovering and supporting startups. Softsquared operates the developer network "Gritge" and has been analyzing the practical impact of AI technology adoption on the ground.
Both sides stated that through this event, they intend to suggest a direction in which developers can create greater value by utilizing AI, rather than competing with AI technology.
The event consists of a demo day, technical lectures, corporate networking programs, and career counseling.
Various projects will be presented at UMC Demo Day, attended by approximately 800 developers from 16 universities nationwide, and CMC Demo Day, a revenue-based community. At NerdCon, a technical lecture session, industry experts will deliver practical presentations on topics such as AI tool utilization, cloud-native development, and legacy system modernization.
Additionally, Connect Day, a platform for inter-company technology exchange, will feature 25 domestic and international technology solution companies participating to share collaborative practices. DATADOG, Hancom With, and KDDI Korea have also confirmed their participation.
Programs to support recruitment and career growth will also be offered. IT companies will set up booths on-site, offering one-on-one consultations, portfolio reviews, and recruitment information. Participating companies include Gridge, Ssack, Strangeplanet, Flipper Corporation, Clever Brain, and Searchlight AI.
Softsquared explained that the advancement of AI technology is providing new opportunities for developers, and that smart work infrastructure that enables flexible work in a digitalized work environment is expanding.
This event is expected to serve as an opportunity to present a collaborative model for developers, businesses, and the technology community to adapt to change and thrive together. Registration is available on the official website, and a giveaway event for on-site attendees will also be held.
