기술보증기금(이사장 김종호)은 18일 대전 에트리홀딩스(대표이사 박성용) 본사에서 에트리홀딩스와 혁신스타트업의 초기투자 확대와 스케일업 지원을 위한 업무협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다. 이번 협약은 양 기관의 기업 지원 역량을 연계해 성장성과 기술력이 뛰어난 지역 창업기업을 공동 발굴하고, 초기 단계부터 성장 단계까지 전 주기 지원체계를 마련하기 위해 추진됐다.
에트리홀딩스는 한국전자통신연구원(ETRI)이 100% 출자해 2010년 설립한 국내 최초 기술사업화 전문 투자기관으로, AI, 빅데이터, 클라우드, 사물인터넷 등 딥테크 기반 ICT 융합기술 분야에 특화된 포트폴리오를 구축하고 있다. 현재까지 총 142개 기업에 투자하며 기술창업 생태계 확산에 기여해왔다.
협약에 따라 양 기관은 지역 유망창업기업 공동 발굴, 에트리홀딩스 추천기업에 대한 기보의 금융 및 비금융 지원 제공, 보증료 감면을 통한 기업 부담 완화, 투자기업의 스케일업을 위한 프로그램 연계를 추진할 계획이다. 이를 통해 혁신 스타트업의 안정적 성장 기반 구축을 목표로 하고 있다.
정대영 기술보증기금 충청지역본부장은 “이번 협약이 기술 기반 혁신 스타트업의 초기 유동성 확보와 지속 성장의 계기가 될 것”이라며, “향후 지역 엑셀러레이터와의 협력을 확대해 벤처투자 생태계 활성화에 기여하겠다”라고 밝혔다.

To date, ETRI has invested in 142 companies, contributing to the expansion of the technology startup ecosystem.
Under the agreement, the two organizations will jointly discover promising local startups, provide financial and non-financial support to companies recommended by Etri Holdings, ease corporate burdens through reduced guarantee fees, and collaborate on programs to support scale-up of invested companies. Through these efforts, the goal is to establish a stable growth foundation for innovative startups.
Jeong Dae-young, head of the Chungcheong Regional Headquarters of the Korea Technology Finance Corporation, said, “This agreement will serve as an opportunity to secure initial liquidity and sustainable growth for technology-based innovative startups,” and added, “We will expand cooperation with regional accelerators in the future to contribute to the revitalization of the venture investment ecosystem.”

条約に基づき、両機関は地域有望創業企業共同発掘、エトリホールディングス推薦企業に対する棋譜の金融および非金融支援の提供、保証料減免による企業負担緩和、投資企業のスケールアップのためのプログラム連携を推進する計画だ。これによりイノベーションスタートアップの安定的成長基盤構築を目指している。
チョン・デヨン技術保証基金忠清地域本部長は「今回の協約が技術基盤イノベーションスタートアップの初期流動性確保と持続成長のきっかけになるだろう」とし、「今後地域エクセラレーターとの協力を拡大してベンチャー投資エコシステムの活性化に寄与する」と明らかにした。

Cet accord vise à accroître les investissements initiaux dans les jeunes entreprises innovantes et à soutenir leur développement. Il a pour objectif de conjuguer les capacités d'accompagnement des deux organisations afin d'identifier conjointement les startups locales présentant un fort potentiel de croissance et une expertise technologique remarquable, et de mettre en place un système d'accompagnement complet, de la phase de démarrage à la phase de croissance.
Créée en 2010 et détenue à 100 % par l'Institut de recherche en électronique et télécommunications (ETRI), ETRI Holdings est la première société d'investissement coréenne spécialisée dans la commercialisation des technologies.
