한국무역협회(KITA, 회장 윤진식)는 17일 서울시 강남구 삼성동 트레이드타워에서 주한남아공대사관·주한남아공상공회의소와 공동으로 ‘한-남아공 무역·투자 세미나’를 개최했다.
이번 세미나는 남아프리카공화국을 중심으로 아프리카 시장 진출을 위한 프로젝트 투자 기회 및 전략을 모색하기 위해 마련되었다. 장석민 한국무역협회 전무, 신디스와 은톰볼리모 음쿠쿠(Sindiswa Ntombolimo MQUQU) 주한남아공대사, 티모시 디킨즈(Tim Dickens) 주한남아공상공회의소 회장을 비롯해 남아공 진출관심 기업 등 100여 명이 참석한 가운데 ‘남아프리카공화국 주요 프로젝트 투자 기회 및 시장진출 방안’을 주제로 개최되었다.
세미나는 ▲한-아프리카 무역․투자 동향 및 유망 협력분야 ▲G20 활용 한-남아공 경제협력 방향, ▲남아공 투자기회와 위험관리 전략, ▲에너지․인프라 분야 남아프리카 진출전략 순으로 전문가 발표가 진행되었다.
발표에 나선 포스코경영연구소 서상현 수석연구원은 우리나라의 누적 해외직접투자(FDI) 중 아프리카 비중이 0.8%에 불과한 상황에서 한국의 제조․산업 안정망 보완을 위한 핵심광물 및 청정에너지 분야로의 투자확대 필요성을 강조했다.
이어 티모시 디킨즈 주한남아공상공회의소 회장은 올해 남아공에서 개최 예정인 G20 정상회의를 계기로 광물·친환경에너지․디지털혁신 분야에서의 양국간 경제협력이 확대 필요성에 대해 설명했다.
또한 남아공 상업·투자은행인 ABSA(Amalgamated Banks of South Africa)의 체포 은쿠베(Tshepo Ncube) 국제사업 담당이사는 아프리카의 금융환경을 감안한 사전적 전략적 파트너십 및 신뢰도 구축의 필요성을 언급했다.
세미나 종료 후에는 남아공 진출을 희망하는 우리나라 기업 51개사가 주한남아공대사관, 주한남아공상공회의소, ABSA은행과 개별상담을 진행해 실질적인 비즈니스 연계 기회를 가졌다.
장석민 한국무역협회 전무는 “각국의 관세조치로 보호무역주의가 강화되고 인구절벽으로 생산인구 감소가 심화되는 가운데, 젊은 노동인구와 아프리카대륙자유무역지대(AfCFTA)라는 큰 시장을 가진 아프리카는 향후 세계 경제의 새로운 성장 동력이 될 것”이라며 “무역협회는 우리 기업들이 새로운 기회를 잡을 수 있도록 관련 정보를 적시에 제공하고 개별상담과 같이 비즈니스에 실질적인 도움이 될 수 있는 지원사업을 지속해 나갈 계획”이라고 강조했다.

Martial Arts, '2025 Korea-South Africa Trade and Investment Seminar' held
The Korea International Trade Association (KITA, Chairman Jin-sik Yoon) held the 'Korea-South Africa Trade and Investment Seminar' jointly with the South African Embassy in Korea and the South African Chamber of Commerce in Korea at the Trade Tower in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul on the 17th.
This seminar was organized to explore project investment opportunities and strategies for entering the African market, focusing on South Africa. It was held under the theme of ‘Major project investment opportunities in South Africa and market entry methods’, with approximately 100 people in attendance, including Jang Seok-min, Executive Director of the Korea International Trade Association, Sindiswa Ntombolimo MQUQU, South African Ambassador to Korea, Tim Dickens, Chairman of the South African Chamber of Commerce in Korea, and companies interested in entering the South African market.
The seminar was conducted with expert presentations in the following order: ▲Korea-Africa trade and investment trends and promising areas of cooperation ▲Direction of Korea-South Africa economic cooperation utilizing the G20 ▲South African investment opportunities and risk management strategies ▲Strategies for entering South Africa in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
Seo Sang-hyun, a senior researcher at the POSCO Research Institute, who gave the presentation, emphasized the need to expand investment in key minerals and clean energy sectors to supplement Korea’s manufacturing and industrial safety net, given that Africa accounts for only 0.8% of Korea’s accumulated foreign direct investment (FDI).
Next, Timothy Dickens, Chairman of the South Asian Chamber of Commerce in Korea, explained the need to expand economic cooperation between the two countries in the fields of minerals, eco-friendly energy, and digital innovation, taking advantage of the G20 Summit scheduled to be held in South Africa this year.
Tshepo Ncube, director of international operations at the Amalgamated Banks of South Africa (ABSA), also spoke about the need for proactive strategic partnerships and trust-building in light of Africa's financial environment.
After the seminar, 51 Korean companies hoping to advance into South Africa had individual consultations with the South African Embassy in Korea, the South African Chamber of Commerce in Korea, and ABSA Bank, providing opportunities for practical business connections.
Jang Seok-min, executive director of the Korea International Trade Association, emphasized, “As protectionism is strengthening due to tariff measures in each country and the decline in the working-age population is intensifying due to the population cliff, Africa, with its young working population and large market called the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), will become a new growth engine for the global economy in the future.” He added, “The trade association plans to provide relevant information in a timely manner so that our companies can seize new opportunities and continue to provide support programs that can provide practical help to businesses, such as individual consultations.”

韓国貿易協会（ＫＩＴＡ、会長ユン・ジンシク）は１７日、ソウル市江南区三成洞（サムソンドン）トレードタワーで在韓南亜公大使館・在韓南亜工商公会議所と共同で「韓・南亜公貿易・投資セミナー」を開催した。
今回のセミナーは、南アフリカ共和国を中心にアフリカ市場進出のためのプロジェクト投資機会と戦略を模索するために設けられた。南アフリカ進出関心企業など約100人が参加した中、「南アフリカ共和国主要プロジェクト投資機会および市場進出案」をテーマに開催された。
セミナーは▲韓-アフリカ貿易․投資動向と有望な協力分野インフラ分野南アフリカ進出戦略順に専門家発表が進行された。
発表に乗り出したポスコ経営研究所ソ・サンヒョン首席研究院は、韓国の累積海外直接投資（FDI）のうち、アフリカ比重が0.8％に過ぎない状況で韓国の製造・産業安定網を補完するためのコア鉱物およびクリーンエネルギー分野への投資拡大の必要性を強調した。
続いて、ティモシー・ディキンズ在韓南アジア工商公会議所会長は今年南アフリカで開催予定のG20首脳会議をきっかけに鉱物・環境にやさしいエネルギー・デジタル革新分野における両国間の経済協力が拡大する必要性について説明した。
また、南アフリカの商業・投資銀行であるＡＢＳＡ（Amalgamated Banks of South Africa）の逮捕、銀座（Tshepo Ncube）国際事業担当理事は、アフリカの金融環境を勘案した事前的戦略的パートナーシップ及び信頼度構築の必要性に言及した。
セミナー終了後は南アフリカへの進出を希望する韓国企業51社が在韓南アジア公共大使館、駐韓南亜公商公会議所、ABSA銀行と個別相談を進め、実質的なビジネス連携機会を有した。
チャン・ソクミン韓国貿易協会専務は「各国の関税措置で保護貿易主義が強化され、人口絶壁で生産人口減少が深化する中、若い労働人口とアフリカ大陸自由貿易地帯（AfCFTA）という大きな市場を持つアフリカは今後の世界経済の新たな成長動力になるだろう」とし「タイムリーに提供し、個別相談など、ビジネスに実質的な役に立つ支援事業を継続していく計画だ」と強調した。

武术、‘2025韩国-南非贸易投资研讨会’举行
韩国贸易协会（KITA，会长尹振植） 17日与驻韩南非大使馆、驻韩南非商会联合在首尔江南区三成洞贸易塔举办了“韩南贸易投资研讨会”。
本次研讨会旨在探讨以南非为重点的项目投资机会及进入非洲市场的策略。此次活动以“南非大型项目的投资机会和进入南非市场的方法”为主题，韩国贸易协会执行董事张锡民、南非驻韩大使辛迪斯瓦·恩托姆博利莫·MQUQU、韩国南非商会会长蒂莫西·狄更斯以及有意向进入南非的企业等约100人出席了活动。
研讨会上，专家们按照如下顺序进行了发言：▲韩非贸易投资动向及有希望的合作领域▲利用G20开展韩南经济合作的方向▲南非的投资机会及风险管理战略▲进入南非能源和基础设施领域的战略。
浦项制铁研究院高级研究员徐尚铉在会上强调，鉴于非洲仅占韩国累计外国直接投资（FDI）的0.8%，因此需要扩大对关键矿产和清洁能源领域的投资，以补充韩国的制造业和工业安全网。
接下来，韩国南亚商会会长蒂莫西·狄更斯阐述了利用今年在南非举行的G20峰会的机会扩大两国在矿产、环保能源、数字创新等领域经济合作的必要性。
南非联合银行（ABSA）国际业务总监 Tshepo Ncube 也谈到了鉴于非洲的金融环境，建立积极主动的战略伙伴关系和信任的必要性。
研讨会结束后，希望进军南非市场的51家韩国企业与南非驻韩大使馆、韩国南非商会、南非联合银行等进行了个别洽谈，提供了切实的商业对接机会。
韩国贸易协会专务理事张锡民强调，“在各国关税措施导致保护主义加强、人口断崖式下降加剧的形势下，拥有年轻劳动人口和巨大市场的非洲大陆自由贸易区（AfCFTA）将成为未来全球经济的新增长引擎”。他补充道：“行业协会计划及时提供相关信息，以便我们的企业能够抓住新的机遇，并继续提供能够为企业提供切实帮助的支持计划，例如个人咨询。”

Arts martiaux : Séminaire sur le commerce et l'investissement Corée-Afrique du Sud 2025
L'Association coréenne du commerce international (KITA, président Jin-sik Yoon) a organisé le « Séminaire sur le commerce et l'investissement Corée-Afrique du Sud » conjointement avec l'ambassade d'Afrique du Sud en Corée et la Chambre de commerce d'Afrique du Sud en Corée à la Trade Tower à Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Séoul le 17.
Ce séminaire a été conçu pour explorer les opportunités d’investissement de projets et les stratégies pour entrer sur le marché africain, en se concentrant sur l’Afrique du Sud. L'événement s'est tenu sous le thème « Opportunités d'investissement pour les grands projets en Afrique du Sud et méthodes d'entrée sur le marché en Afrique du Sud » avec la participation d'environ 100 personnes, dont Jang Seok-min, directeur exécutif de l'Association coréenne du commerce international, Sindiswa Ntombolimo MQUQU, ambassadeur d'Afrique du Sud en Corée, Timothy Dickens, président de la Chambre de commerce sud-africaine en Corée, et des entreprises intéressées à s'implanter en Afrique du Sud.
Le séminaire a été mené avec des présentations d'experts dans l'ordre suivant : ▲ Tendances du commerce et de l'investissement Corée-Afrique et domaines de coopération prometteurs ▲ Orientation de la coopération économique Corée-Afrique du Sud en utilisant le G20 ▲ Opportunités d'investissement et stratégies de gestion des risques en Afrique du Sud ▲ Stratégies d'entrée en Afrique du Sud dans les secteurs de l'énergie et des infrastructures.
Seo Sang-hyun, chercheur principal à l’Institut de recherche POSCO, qui a fait la présentation, a souligné la nécessité d’accroître les investissements dans les secteurs clés des minéraux et de l’énergie propre pour compléter le filet de sécurité manufacturier et industriel de la Corée, étant donné que l’Afrique ne représente que 0,8 % des investissements directs étrangers (IDE) accumulés par la Corée.
Ensuite, Timothy Dickens, président de la Chambre de commerce sud-asiatique en Corée, a expliqué la nécessité d'élargir la coopération économique entre les deux pays dans les domaines des minéraux, de l'énergie écologique et de l'innovation numérique, profitant du sommet du G20 prévu en Afrique du Sud cette année.
Tshepo Ncube, directeur des opérations internationales de l'Amalgamated Banks of South Africa (ABSA), a également évoqué la nécessité de partenariats stratégiques proactifs et de renforcement de la confiance à la lumière de l'environnement financier africain.
Après le séminaire, 51 entreprises coréennes souhaitant s'implanter en Afrique du Sud ont eu des consultations individuelles avec l'ambassade d'Afrique du Sud en Corée, la Chambre de commerce d'Afrique du Sud en Corée et la Banque ABSA, offrant ainsi des opportunités de relations commerciales pratiques.
Jang Seok-min, directeur exécutif de l'Association coréenne du commerce international, a souligné : « Alors que le protectionnisme se renforce en raison des mesures tarifaires dans chaque pays et que le déclin de la population en âge de travailler s'intensifie en raison de la falaise démographique, l'Afrique, avec sa jeune population active et son grand marché appelé la Zone de libre-échange continentale africaine (ZLECA), deviendra un nouveau moteur de croissance pour l'économie mondiale à l'avenir. » Il a ajouté : « L'association professionnelle prévoit de fournir des informations pertinentes en temps opportun afin que nos entreprises puissent saisir de nouvelles opportunités et continuer à proposer des programmes de soutien qui peuvent apporter une aide pratique aux entreprises, comme des consultations individuelles. »
