공간정보 플랫폼 전문기업 ㈜웨이버스(공동대표 김학성·박창훈)는 17일, 부산 벡스코에서 열린 ‘2025 월드 스마트시티 엑스포(WSCE)’에서 자사의 신규 솔루션 ‘지온시티(GeOnCity)’가 인공지능·데이터(AI·DATA) 부문 어워즈를 수상했다고 밝혔다.
웨이버스는 지난해 WSCE에서 과학기술정보통신부 장관상을 수상한 데 이어, 2년 연속 수상 성과를 이어갔다. 회사는 행사 기간 동안 지온시티의 시연과 함께 지자체 실무자 대상 솔루션 상담을 진행하며 현장 적용 가능성을 소개했다.
지온시티는 올해 WSCE에서 공식 출시된 행정업무 지원용 스마트시티 솔루션이다. 웨이버스가 자체 개발한 클라우드 기반 2D 공간정보 플랫폼 ‘지온파스(GeOnPaaS)’와 3D 디지털 트윈 플랫폼 ‘지온디티(GeOnDT)’를 기반으로 구성되며, 총 30개의 모듈형 서비스를 통해 지자체 및 공공기관의 행정 수요에 맞춤형 적용이 가능하다.
김학성 웨이버스 대표는 “이번 수상은 웨이버스가 축적해온 스마트 행정 기술력의 성과를 대외적으로 인정받은 사례”라며 “향후 글로벌 시장에서의 경쟁력을 높이고, 사람 중심의 공간정보 플랫폼 생태계를 조성하는 데 주력하겠다”고 말했다.

Wayvers Wins AI/Data Category Award at '2025 World Smart City Expo'
Wayverse Co., Ltd. (Co-CEOs Hak-seong Kim and Chang-hoon Park), a spatial information platform specialist, announced on the 17th that its new solution, GeOnCity, won an award in the Artificial Intelligence·Data (AI·DATA) category at the '2025 World Smart City Expo (WSCE)' held at BEXCO in Busan.
Wavers continued its winning streak for two consecutive years, following last year’s WSCE Minister of Science and ICT Award. During the event, the company conducted a demonstration of Zion City and provided consulting on solutions for local government practitioners, introducing the possibility of field application.
GeonCity is a smart city solution for administrative work support officially launched at this year's WSCE. It is composed of the cloud-based 2D spatial information platform 'GeOnPaaS' and the 3D digital twin platform 'GeOnDT' developed by Waybus, and can be customized to the administrative needs of local governments and public institutions through a total of 30 modular services.
Kim Hak-seong, CEO of Waybus, said, “This award is an example of external recognition of the smart administrative technology that Waybus has accumulated,” and added, “We will focus on increasing our competitiveness in the global market and creating a people-centered spatial information platform ecosystem in the future.”

ウェーバーズは昨年WSCEで科学技術情報通信部長官賞を受賞したのに続き、2年連続受賞成果を続けた。同社はイベント期間中、ジオンシティのデモンストレーションとともに自治体の実務者向けソリューションの相談を行い、現場適用可能性を紹介した。
ジオンシティは今年、WSCEで公式発売された行政業務支援用スマートシティソリューションだ。ウェーブスが自社開発したクラウドベースの2D空間情報プラットフォーム「ジオンパス（GeOnPaaS）」と3Dデジタルツインプラットフォーム「ジオンディティ（GeOnDT）」をベースに構成され、合計30のモジュール型サービスを通じて自治体および公共機関の行政需要にカスタマイズされた適用が可能だ。
キム・ハクソンウェーバース代表は「今回の受賞はウェーバースが蓄積してきたスマート行政技術力の成果を対外的に認められた事例」とし「今後グローバル市場での競争力を高め、人中心の空間情報プラットフォームエコシステムを造成することに注力する」と話した。

Wavers a poursuivi sa série de victoires pour la deuxième année consécutive, après avoir remporté le prix du ministre des Sciences et des TIC de la WSCE l'année dernière. Lors de cet événement, l'entreprise a réalisé une démonstration de Zion City et a conseillé les acteurs locaux sur les solutions à mettre en œuvre, leur proposant ainsi des applications concrètes.
GeonCity est une solution de ville intelligente pour l'aide à la gestion administrative, officiellement lancée lors du WSCE de cette année. Composée de la plateforme d'information spatiale 2D « GeOnPaaS » basée sur le cloud et de la plateforme de jumeau numérique 3D « GeOnDT » développée par Waybus, elle s'adapte aux besoins administratifs des collectivités locales et des institutions publiques grâce à 30 services modulaires.
