연구개발특구진흥재단(이사장 정희권, 이하 ‘특구재단’)은 딥테크 스타트업을 대상으로 투자와 사업화 R&D 과제를 연계 지원하는 ‘2025년 특구형 딥테크 스타트업 챌린지(이하 ’딥테크 챌린지’)’를 시행하고, 8월 22일까지 참여기업을 모집한다고 밝혔다.
‘딥테크 챌린지’는 고난도 기반 기술을 보유한 유망 딥테크 기업을 발굴하고, 기술사업화 성과 창출을 촉진하기 위해 기획된 IR 기반 경진 프로그램으로, 단순한 경진대회 형식을 넘어 선정 기업에게 직접투자와 후속 R&D 과제를 연계 지원하는 사업화 지원 구조를 도입했다.
신청자격은 딥테크 분야 사업화를 추진하는 기업 중, 연구소기업·첨단기술기업·규제특례기업 등 특구제도권 기업(트랙A)과 특구 내 공공연구기관 및 과학기술특성화대학 기술 기반 창업 7년 이내 기업(트랙B)으로 구분되며, 1차 서면 평가 및 인터뷰를 거쳐 Pre-IR, Final IR 단계까지 총 3단계 절차를 통해 각 트랙에서 3개사씩 총 6개 기업을 최종 선정할 예정이다.
최종 선정된 기업에게는 과학기술정보통신부 장관상 및 특구재단 이사장상과 총 1,800만 원의 상금이 수여되며, 연구개발특구펀드를 통한 기업별 최대 10억 원 규모의 직접투자와 투자 매칭 기업을 대상으로 최대 6억 원 규모의 후속 R&D 과제가 연계된다.
참여를 희망하는 기업은 공고문 내 제출서식을 작성하여 8월 22일 18:00까지 이메일(cha@innopolis.or.kr)을 통해 신청할 수 있으며, 자세한 사항은 특구재단 홈페이지 내 사업공고에서 확인할 수 있다.
본 프로그램은 연구개발특구펀드 운용사 인라이트벤처스(주), 이노폴리스파트너스(유), (주)이앤벤처파트너스 3개사가 투자 참여를 하며, ㈜제이엔피글로벌이 수행한다.

Special Zone Foundation, '2025 Special Zone Deep Tech Startup Challenge' Participating Companies Recruitment
The Research and Development Special Zone Promotion Foundation (Chairman Hee-Kwon Jeong, hereinafter referred to as the "Special Zone Foundation") announced that it will be carrying out the "2025 Special Zone-type Deep Tech Startup Challenge (hereinafter referred to as the "Deep Tech Challenge")" to provide support for investment and commercialization R&D projects targeting deep tech startups, and that it will recruit participating companies until August 22.
The 'Deep Tech Challenge' is an IR-based competition program designed to discover promising deep tech companies with high-level core technologies and to promote the creation of technology commercialization results. It goes beyond a simple competition format and introduces a commercialization support structure that provides direct investment and follow-up R&D support to selected companies.
Applicants are divided into Track A, special zone institutional companies such as research institutes, advanced technology companies, and regulatory exemption companies among companies promoting commercialization in the deep tech field, and Track B, companies founded within the special zone within the past 7 years based on technology from public research institutes and science and technology specialized universities. A total of 6 companies, 3 from each track, will be selected through a total of 3 stages including the Pre-IR and Final IR stages after the first written evaluation and interview.
The final selected company will be awarded the Minister of Science and ICT Award and the Special Zone Foundation Chairman Award, as well as a total of KRW 18 million in prize money. In addition, direct investment of up to KRW 1 billion per company through the Research and Development Special Zone Fund and follow-up R&D projects of up to KRW 600 million for investment-matching companies will be linked.
Companies wishing to participate can fill out the submission form in the announcement and submit it via email (cha@innopolis.or.kr) by 18:00 on August 22. Further details can be found in the business announcement on the Special Zone Foundation website .
This program is operated by JNP Global, with investment participation from three companies: Inlight Ventures, Inc., a research and development special zone fund operator; Innopolis Partners, Inc.; and E&Venture Partners, Inc.
Jeong Hee-kwon, chairman of the Special Zone Foundation, said, “Deep tech startups are a field with high technological prowess but also high initial risk, so systematic early support is more important than anything else,” and added, “We will continue to provide comprehensive support so that promising deep tech startups with high growth momentum can enter the market and make a leap forward in a stable manner.”

研究開発特区振興財団（理事長チョン・ヒクォン、以下「特区財団」）は、ディープテックスタートアップを対象に投資と事業化のR&D課題を連携支援する「2025年特区型ディープテックスタートアップチャレンジ（以下、「ディープテクチャル2」）参加企業を募集すると明らかにした。
「ディープテックチャレンジ」は、高難度基盤技術を保有した有望ディープテク企業を発掘し、技術事業化成果創出を促進するために企画されたIR基盤競進プログラムで、単純な競進大会形式を超えて選定企業に直接投資と後続のR&D課題を連携支援する事業化支援構造を導入。
申請資格はディープテック分野の事業化を推進する企業のうち、研究所企業・先端技術企業・規制特例企業など特区制度権企業(トラックA)と特区内公共研究機関及び科学技術特性化大学技術基盤創業7年以内に企業及びトラックIRの評価3段階手続きを通じて各トラックで3社ずつ合計6社を最終選定する予定だ。
最終選定された企業には科学技術情報通信部長官賞及び特区財団理事長賞と総1,800万ウォンの賞金が授与され、研究開発特区ファンドを通じた企業別最大10億ウォン規模の直接投資と投資マッチング企業を対象に最大6億ウォン規模の後続のR&D課題が連携される。

特区财团‘2025特区深度科技创业挑战赛’参与企业招募
研究开发特区振兴财团（会长：郑熙权，以下简称“特区财团”）宣布，将举办“2025特区型深度科技创业挑战赛（以下简称“深度科技挑战赛”）”，为深度科技创业公司的投资及商业化研发项目提供支持，并将于8月22日前招募参赛企业。
“深度科技挑战赛”是一项基于IR的竞赛项目，旨在发掘拥有高水平核心技术的潜力深度科技公司，并促进技术商业化成果的创造。它超越了简单的竞赛形式，引入了商业化支持机制，为入选公司提供直接投资和后续研发支持。

Fondation Zone Spéciale, « Défi Startup Deep Tech Zone Spéciale 2025 » : recrutement des entreprises participantes
La Fondation pour la promotion de la recherche et du développement dans les zones spéciales (président Hee-Kwon Jeong, ci-après dénommée la « Fondation pour la zone spéciale ») a annoncé qu'elle organiserait le « Défi des startups Deep Tech de type zone spéciale 2025 (ci-après dénommé le « Défi Deep Tech ») » pour soutenir les projets de R&D d'investissement et de commercialisation ciblant les startups Deep Tech, et qu'elle recruterait des entreprises participantes jusqu'au 22 août.
Le « Deep Tech Challenge » est un programme de compétition basé sur les relations avec les investisseurs (RI) conçu pour découvrir des entreprises de haute technologie prometteuses dotées de technologies de pointe et pour promouvoir la commercialisation de leurs technologies. Au-delà d'un simple format de compétition, il met en place une structure de soutien à la commercialisation qui offre un investissement direct et un accompagnement en R&D aux entreprises sélectionnées.
Les candidats sont répartis en deux catégories : les entreprises institutionnelles de la zone spéciale, telles que les instituts de recherche, les entreprises de technologies avancées et les entreprises bénéficiant d'une exemption réglementaire parmi les entreprises promouvant la commercialisation dans le domaine des technologies de pointe, et les entreprises de la zone spéciale, fondées au cours des sept dernières années sur des technologies issues d'instituts de recherche publics et d'universités spécialisées en sciences et technologies. Six entreprises, trois par catégorie, seront sélectionnées en trois étapes, dont les phases de pré-IR et d'IR finale, après une première évaluation écrite et un entretien.
L'entreprise sélectionnée se verra décerner le prix du Ministre des Sciences et des TIC et le prix du Président de la Fondation de la Zone Spéciale, ainsi qu'une récompense d'un montant total de 18 millions de wons. De plus, un investissement direct pouvant atteindre 1 milliard de wons par entreprise via le Fonds de recherche et développement de la Zone Spéciale, ainsi que des projets de R&D complémentaires pouvant atteindre 600 millions de wons seront également proposés aux entreprises participantes.
