재단법인 경기창조경제혁신센터(대표이사 김원경, 이하 ‘경기혁신센터’)는 Draper Startup House Korea(대표 이세용, 이하 ‘DSH Korea’)와 글로벌 스타트업 지원 및 창업 생태계의 국제화 강화를 위한 전략적 업무협약(MOU)을 7월 29일 체결했다고 밝혔다.
Draper Startup House는 글로벌 벤처투자자 팀 드레이퍼(Tim Draper)가 설립한 전 세계 창업가 및 투자자 네트워크로, 스타트업을 위한 인프라 제공, 투자 지원, 창업 교육 등을 전개하고 있다. 2024년 한국에 설립된 DSH Korea는 국내 스타트업의 해외 진출과 글로벌 투자 유치를 지원하는 허브 역할을 수행 중이다.
이번 협약에 따라 양 기관은 ▲스타트업의 글로벌 진출 및 성장 지원 ▲공동 GP(Global Partner) 글로벌 펀드 조성 ▲Draper University 판교 캠퍼스 유치 등을 주요 협력 과제로 추진할 계획이다.
경기혁신센터는 창업기업을 위한 기술 및 경영 자문, 사무 공간 등 실질적인 성장 인프라를 제공하고 있으며, DSH Korea는 해외 네트워크 및 투자자 연계를 통해 글로벌 시장 진출 기회를 확장할 예정이다. 특히 공동 GP 형태의 글로벌 펀드를 통해 스타트업의 국제 투자 유치를 체계적으로 지원할 방침이다.
양 기관은 실리콘밸리 기반의 Draper University 판교 캠퍼스 유치에도 협력한다. 이를 통해 선진 창업 교육 프로그램을 도입하고, 판교를 아시아 지역의 창업 교육 거점으로 육성하겠다는 계획이다. 경기혁신센터는 캠퍼스 설립을 위한 교육 인프라 및 정책적 기반을 제공하고, DSH Korea는 Draper University 본부와의 협업을 통해 설립 절차를 추진할 예정이다.
김원경 경기혁신센터 대표는 “이번 협약은 글로벌 진출을 희망하는 스타트업에 실질적인 기회를 제공하는 계기가 될 것”이라며 “특히 Draper University 캠퍼스 유치를 통해 판교가 아시아 창업 교육의 중심지로 성장할 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.

Gyeonggi Innovation Center Signs Business Agreement with DSH Korea
The Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy and Innovation (CEO Won-kyung Kim, hereinafter referred to as the “Gyeonggi Innovation Center”) announced on July 29 that it signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Draper Startup House Korea (CEO Se-yong Lee, hereinafter referred to as “DSH Korea”) to strengthen support for global startups and the internationalization of the startup ecosystem.
Draper Startup House, a global network of entrepreneurs and investors founded by global venture capitalist Tim Draper, provides startup infrastructure, investment support, and entrepreneurship education. Established in Korea in 2024, DSH Korea serves as a hub to support Korean startups' overseas expansion and attract global investment.
Under this agreement, the two organizations plan to pursue key collaborative projects, including ▲supporting the global expansion and growth of startups ▲establishing a joint GP (Global Partner) global fund ▲attracting Draper University's Pangyo campus.
The Gyeonggi Innovation Center provides practical growth infrastructure, including technical and management consulting and office space, for startups. DSH Korea plans to expand opportunities for global market entry through its overseas network and investor connections. Specifically, it plans to systematically support startups in attracting international investment through a joint GP-style global fund.
The two organizations will also collaborate on attracting Draper University's Pangyo campus, a Silicon Valley-based institution. This initiative aims to introduce advanced entrepreneurship education programs and foster Pangyo as a hub for entrepreneurship education in Asia. The Gyeonggi Innovation Center will provide the educational infrastructure and policy foundation for the campus establishment, while DSH Korea will work with Draper University headquarters to facilitate the establishment process.
Kim Won-kyung, CEO of the Gyeonggi Innovation Center, said, “This agreement will provide practical opportunities for startups hoping to expand globally,” adding, “In particular, we will actively support Pangyo’s growth as a hub for entrepreneurship education in Asia by attracting the Draper University campus.”

両機関はシリコンバレーベースのDraper University板橋キャンパスの誘致にも協力する。これにより先進創業教育プログラムを導入し、板橋をアジア地域の創業教育拠点として育成するという計画だ。京畿イノベーションセンターはキャンパス設立のための教育インフラと政策的基盤を提供し、DSH KoreaはDraper University本部とのコラボレーションを通じて設立手続きを推進する予定だ。

Le Centre Gyeonggi pour l'économie créative et l'innovation (PDG Won-kyung Kim, ci-après dénommé « Centre d'innovation Gyeonggi ») a annoncé le 29 juillet avoir signé un protocole d'accord stratégique (MOU) avec Draper Startup House Korea (PDG Se-yong Lee, ci-après dénommé « DSH Korea ») pour renforcer le soutien aux startups mondiales et l'internationalisation de l'écosystème des startups.
Draper Startup House, un réseau mondial d'entrepreneurs et d'investisseurs fondé par le capital-risqueur international Tim Draper, propose des infrastructures pour les startups, un soutien à l'investissement et une formation à l'entrepreneuriat. Fondée en Corée en 2024, DSH Korea sert de plateforme pour soutenir l'expansion des startups coréennes à l'étranger et attirer les investissements internationaux.
