씨엔알리서치는 지난 16일 IR 행사인 ‘코리아 인베스트먼트 위크(KIW) 2025’에 참석, ‘임상시험 효율 극대화 전략’을 주제로 발표를 진행했다고 밝혔다.
콘래드 서울 호텔에서 열린 올해 KIW는 ‘코스피 5000, 대전환의 시대’라는 주제로 장기적인 증시 성장을 견인할 핵심 산업군을 조명했다. 특히 고부가가치와 기술 혁신 가능성 측면에서 바이오산업의 잠재력이 주목받으며 CRO 세션이 마련됐다.
규제가 강화되는 임상시험 환경 속에서, CRO의 역할은 단순한 위탁기관을 넘어 신약 개발의 전략적 파트너로 진화하고 있다. 국내외 임상시험 전 과정을 통합적으로 관리하고, 이해관계자 간 협업을 주도하는 CRO의 전문성은 신약 개발 성공의 핵심 요소로 자리 잡았다.
연사로 참여한 김진학 씨엔알리서치 미국법인장은 “정부의 대규모 R&D 투자가 활발해지면서 후보물질 개발과 해외진출 등 임상시험에서도 새로운 성장 동력을 발 빠르게 확보하고 있다”며 ”이에 따라 임상시험 수요도 지속적으로 증가할 것으로 기대돼 신약 개발의 효율을 극대화하는 것이 곧 바이오산업의 핵심 경쟁력”이라고 설명했다.

CNR Research announced that it attended the IR event 'Korea Investment Week (KIW) 2025' on the 16th and gave a presentation on the topic of 'Strategies for Maximizing Clinical Trial Efficiency'.
Held at the Conrad Seoul Hotel, this year's KIW, under the theme "KOSPI 5000: An Era of Great Transformation," highlighted key industries poised to drive long-term stock market growth. The bio industry's potential, particularly in terms of high added value and potential for technological innovation, drew particular attention, leading to a CRO session.
In a clinical trial environment increasingly regulated, the role of CROs is evolving beyond mere contracting agencies to strategic partners in new drug development. CROs' expertise in comprehensively managing the entire clinical trial process, both domestically and internationally, and facilitating collaboration among stakeholders has become a key factor in the success of new drug development.
Kim Jin-hak, head of C&R Research's US subsidiary who participated as a speaker, said, "As the government's large-scale R&D investment becomes more active, we are quickly securing new growth engines in clinical trials such as candidate substance development and overseas expansion." He explained, "Accordingly, the demand for clinical trials is also expected to continue to increase, so maximizing the efficiency of new drug development is the core competitiveness of the bio industry."
He added, "As CNR Research has led the advancement of clinical trial innovation based on its global network and expertise, we are always ready to leap forward alongside the industry to strengthen our international competitiveness."

CNR Research a annoncé sa participation à l'événement IR « Korea Investment Week (KIW) 2025 » le 16 et a fait une présentation sur le thème « Stratégies pour maximiser l'efficacité des essais cliniques ».
Organisé à l'hôtel Conrad de Séoul, le KIW de cette année, placé sous le thème « KOSPI 5000 : Une ère de grande transformation », a mis en lumière les secteurs clés susceptibles de stimuler la croissance boursière à long terme. Le potentiel du secteur bio, notamment en termes de forte valeur ajoutée et d'innovation technologique, a particulièrement retenu l'attention, donnant lieu à une session dédiée aux CRO.
Dans un environnement d'essais cliniques de plus en plus réglementé, le rôle des CRO évolue, passant de celui de simples agences contractantes à celui de partenaires stratégiques dans le développement de nouveaux médicaments. Leur expertise en gestion globale de l'ensemble du processus d'essais cliniques, tant au niveau national qu'international, et en facilitation de la collaboration entre les parties prenantes, est devenue un facteur clé de réussite du développement de nouveaux médicaments.
Kim Jin-hak, directeur de la filiale américaine de C&R Research, qui a participé à l'intervention, a déclaré : « Avec l'intensification des investissements gouvernementaux en R&D, nous créons rapidement de nouveaux moteurs de croissance dans les essais cliniques, tels que le développement de substances candidates et l'expansion à l'international. » Il a expliqué : « Par conséquent, la demande d'essais cliniques devrait également continuer à augmenter.
