기술보증기금(이사장 김종호)은 중소벤처기업의 M&A 활성화를 위해 구축한 민관협력 M&A 플랫폼을 통해 첫 번째 기술혁신형 M&A 계약을 성사시켰다고 18일 밝혔다. 이번 M&A는 코스닥 상장 중견기업인 안국약품이 플랫폼을 통해 매수 의사를 밝히며 추진됐다.
기술보증기금은 안국약품을 플랫폼 참여 민간기관인 인터캐피탈파트너스와 연계하고 전문 자문을 지원해 헬스케어 분야 기술혁신형 기업인 디메디코리아와의 계약 체결을 이끌었다. 이번 사례는 보증 지원 없이 중개와 자문만으로 성사된 첫 M&A로, 공공과 민간이 협력해 구축한 플랫폼이 실질적 성과로 이어졌다는 점에서 의미가 크다.
또한 이번 거래는 인수기업이 피인수기업의 혁신기술을 내재화하는 기술혁신형 M&A 형태로, 단순한 사업 확장을 넘어 새로운 성장동력 확보에 기여할 것으로 기대된다. 안국약품은 앞으로도 기보 M&A 플랫폼을 통해 기술혁신 기업과의 전략적 제휴 및 인수 기회를 지속 검토하고, 헬스테크와 H&B 분야 등 신사업 영역 확대를 추진할 계획이다.

기술보증기금은 중소벤처기업의 성장전략을 지원하기 위해 M&A 플랫폼을 통해 수요 발굴부터 자문, 중개, 금융까지 원스톱 지원체계를 운영 중이다. 또한 기술혁신형, 기업승계형, 구조조정형 등 유형별 맞춤형 지원도 확대하고 있다. 기보는 민간협력 네트워크 강화를 위해 내달 4일까지 M&A 파트너스를 추가 모집하고 있으며, 참여 희망 기관은 스마트 테크브릿지 홈페이지를 통해 신청할 수 있다.
