의료 인공지능(AI) 솔루션 기업 휴톰(HUTOM)이 오는 4월 8일부터 11일까지 중국 상하이에서 열리는 국제 의료기기 박람회 ‘CMEF 2025(China International Medical Equipment Fair)’에 참가한다고 1일 밝혔다. 이번 전시에서 휴톰은 자사의 AI 기반 3D 수술 내비게이션 기술을 선보일 예정이다.
CMEF는 아시아 최대 규모의 의료기기 전문 전시회로, 매년 세계 각국의 헬스케어 및 의료기기 기업들이 참여하여 최신 기술과 제품을 소개하는 자리이다. 휴톰은 이번 전시를 통해 외과 수술 영역에서 활용되는 수술 내비게이션 시스템인 RUS를 기술적으로 소개하고, 다양한 국내외 관계자들과의 교류를 이어갈 계획이다.
휴톰이 전시할 기술은 컴퓨터단층촬영(CT) 영상 데이터를 기반으로 환자의 해부학적 구조를 3D로 구현하여, 수술 전 계획 수립과 수술 중에 지원이 가능한 소프트웨어 플랫폼이다. 특히 위 수술에 활용되는 ‘RUS GA(Stomach)’와 신장 수술에 사용되는 ‘RUS NE(Kidney)’ 제품을 중심으로 현장 시연이 예정되어 있으며, 실제 임상에서의 활용 사례도 함께 소개될 예정이다.
이 기술은 환자별 해부학적 차이를 시각적으로 파악할 수 있도록 도와 수술 전 이해도를 높이며, 수술 중 의료진이 정확한 의사결정을 할 수 있도록 지원하는 것을 목표로 한다. 최근 RUS NE(Kidney)를 활용한 신장 부분절제술 관련 임상 논문이 발표되면서, 해당 소프트웨어의 활용 가능성과 수술 과정에서의 기여도에 대한 논의가 활발히 이루어지고 있다.
휴톰의 전시는 상하이 국립전시컨벤션센터(NECC) Hall 5.2 한국관 36번 부스에서 진행되며, 전시 기간 동안 제품 시연과 함께 기술 설명 및 파트너십 논의가 이루어질 예정이다. 형우진 휴톰 대표는 “AI 기술이 수술 현장에서도 실제로 활용될 수 있도록 임상 중심의 개발을 이어가고 있다”며, “이번 전시를 통해 다양한 현장의 의견을 청취하고, 기술 고도화와 글로벌 협업 파트너를 만나는 기회로 삼고자 한다”고 전했다.

Hutom participates in 'CMEF 2025'
HUTOM, a medical artificial intelligence (AI) solution company, announced on the 1st that it will participate in the 'CMEF 2025 (China International Medical Equipment Fair)' held in Shanghai, China from April 8th to 11th. At this exhibition, HUTOM plans to showcase its AI-based 3D surgical navigation technology.
CMEF is Asia's largest medical equipment exhibition, where healthcare and medical equipment companies from around the world participate every year to introduce the latest technologies and products. Through this exhibition, Hutom plans to technically introduce RUS, a surgical navigation system used in the surgical field, and continue to exchange with various domestic and international stakeholders.
The technology that Hutom will exhibit is a software platform that implements the patient's anatomical structure in 3D based on computed tomography (CT) image data, enabling preoperative planning and support during surgery. In particular, on-site demonstrations are scheduled for the 'RUS GA (Stomach)' used in stomach surgery and the 'RUS NE (Kidney)' used in kidney surgery, and actual clinical use cases will also be introduced.
This technology aims to help visualize the anatomical differences of each patient, thereby increasing preoperative understanding and supporting medical staff to make accurate decisions during surgery. Recently, with the publication of clinical papers on partial nephrectomy using RUS NE (Kidney), discussions are actively taking place on the usability of the software and its contribution to the surgical process.
Hutom’s exhibition will be held at booth 36, Hall 5.2, Korea Pavilion, Shanghai National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC), and during the exhibition, there will be product demonstrations, technology explanations, and partnership discussions. Hutom CEO Hyungwoo Jin said, “We are continuing clinical-centered development so that AI technology can be actually utilized in surgical settings,” and “We hope to use this exhibition as an opportunity to listen to various opinions from the field and meet partners for technological advancement and global collaboration.”

HUTOM, une société de solutions d'intelligence artificielle médicale (IA), a annoncé le 1er qu'elle participerait au « CMEF 2025 (China International Medical Equipment Fair) » qui se tiendra à Shanghai, en Chine, du 8 au 11 avril. Lors de cette exposition, Hutom présentera sa technologie de navigation chirurgicale 3D basée sur l'IA.
Le CMEF est le plus grand salon des dispositifs médicaux d'Asie, où des entreprises de soins de santé et de dispositifs médicaux du monde entier participent chaque année pour présenter les dernières technologies et produits. À travers cette exposition, Hutom prévoit de présenter techniquement le RUS, un système de navigation chirurgicale utilisé dans le domaine chirurgical, et de poursuivre les échanges avec divers acteurs nationaux et internationaux.
La technologie que Hutom présentera est une plate-forme logicielle capable de créer une représentation 3D de la structure anatomique d'un patient à partir de données d'image de tomodensitométrie (TDM), permettant une planification préopératoire et un soutien pendant la chirurgie. En particulier, des démonstrations sur site sont prévues pour se concentrer sur le produit « RUS GA (Estomac) » utilisé en chirurgie gastro-intestinale supérieure et le produit « RUS NE (Rein) » utilisé en chirurgie rénale, et des cas d'utilisation clinique réels seront également présentés.
Cette technologie vise à améliorer la compréhension préopératoire en aidant à identifier visuellement les différences anatomiques entre les patients et à aider le personnel médical à prendre des décisions précises pendant la chirurgie. Récemment, avec la publication d'un article clinique sur la néphrectomie partielle utilisant RUS NE (Rein), il y a eu une discussion active sur la convivialité du logiciel et sa contribution au processus chirurgical.
L'exposition de Hutom se tiendra au stand 36, Hall 5.2, Pavillon coréen, Centre national des expositions et des congrès (NECC) de Shanghai, et pendant la période d'exposition, des démonstrations de produits, des explications technologiques et des discussions de partenariat auront lieu.
