쿠팡은 7월 4일 코리아스타트업포럼(이하 코스포)과 국내 인공지능(AI) 스타트업 생태계 조성을 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다고 밝혔다.
이번 협약식에는 코스포 구태언 부의장, 쿠팡 전경수 전무 등 양 기관 관계자가 참석했으며, 협약을 통해 양측은 AI 산업 발전을 위한 공동 협력 체계를 마련하기로 했다.
협약 주요 내용은 ▲AI 생태계 조성을 위한 정부 주관 사업에 대한 공동 참여 ▲코스포 회원사 대상 쿠팡 ‘인텔리전트 클라우드’ 우선 할인 제공 ▲AI 관련 공동 연구 및 기술·솔루션 지원 방안 마련 등이다.
쿠팡은 자사의 AI 컴퓨팅 서비스인 ‘쿠팡 인텔리전트 클라우드’를 통해 스타트업의 기술 기반 강화를 지원하고, 향후 정부의 AI 산업 육성 사업에도 적극 참여할 계획이다.
구태언 코스포 부의장은 “이번 협약은 국내 AI 스타트업들이 보다 안정적으로 기술을 개발하고 성장할 수 있도록 기반을 마련하는 계기”라며 “쿠팡과의 협력이 실질적인 성과로 이어지기를 기대한다”고 밝혔다.
김성한 쿠팡 인텔리전트 클라우드 대표는 “코스포와의 협력을 통해 국내 AI 생태계 활성화에 기여하고, 글로벌 경쟁력을 갖춘 AI 스타트업이 성장할 수 있도록 지속적으로 지원하겠다”고 말했다.

Coupang, Cospo Sign Business Agreement.. “Creating AI Startup Ecosystem”
Coupang announced on July 4 that it signed a business agreement (MOU) with the Korea Startup Forum (Korea Startup Forum) to foster a domestic artificial intelligence (AI) startup ecosystem.
This agreement signing ceremony was attended by officials from both organizations, including Kospo Vice President Gu Tae-eon and Coupang Executive Director Jeon Kyeong-soo, and through the agreement, both sides agreed to establish a joint cooperation system for the development of the AI industry.
The main contents of the agreement are ▲joint participation in government-led projects to create an AI ecosystem ▲provision of priority discounts on Coupang's 'Intelligent Cloud' to COSPO members ▲establishment of joint research and support for technology and solutions related to AI, etc.
Coupang plans to support the strengthening of startups' technology base through its AI computing service, 'Coupang Intelligent Cloud', and actively participate in the government's AI industry fostering project in the future.
Koo Tae-eon, Vice President of Cospo, said, “This agreement is an opportunity to lay the foundation for domestic AI startups to develop technology and grow more stably,” and added, “I hope that our cooperation with Coupang will lead to tangible results.”
Kim Seong-han, CEO of Coupang Intelligent Cloud, said, “Through our collaboration with Cospo, we will contribute to the revitalization of the domestic AI ecosystem and continue to support the growth of AI startups with global competitiveness.”

クパン、コスポと業務協約締結..「AIスタートアップエコシステム助成」
クパンは７月４日、コリアスタートアップフォーラム（以下コスポ）と国内人工知能（ＡＩ）スタートアップ生態系を造成するための業務協約（ＭＯＵ）を締結したと明らかにした。
今回の協約式には、コスポ旧泰言副議長、クパン全経水専務など両機関関係者が参加し、協約を通じて両側はAI産業発展のための共同協力体制を設けることにした。
条約の主な内容は、▲AI生態系づくりのための政府主管事業への共同参加▲コスポ会員社の対象クパン「インテリジェントクラウド」優先割引提供▲AI関連の共同研究及び技術・ソリューション支援案の整備などだ。
クパンは自社のAIコンピューティングサービスである「クパンインテリジェントクラウド」を通じてスタートアップの技術基盤強化を支援し、今後政府のAI産業育成事業にも積極的に参加する計画だ。
グ・テオンコスポ副議長は「今回の条約は国内ＡＩスタートアップがより安定的に技術を開発し成長できるように基盤を設けるきっかけ」とし「クパンとの協力が実質的な成果につながることを期待する」と明らかにした。
キム・ソンハンクパンインテリジェントクラウド代表は「コスポとの協力を通じて国内AIエコシステムの活性化に寄与し、グローバル競争力を備えたAIスタートアップが成長できるように継続的に支援する」と話した。

Coupang a annoncé le 4 juillet avoir signé un accord commercial (MOU) avec le Korea Startup Forum (Korea Startup Forum) pour favoriser un écosystème national de startups d'intelligence artificielle (IA).
Cette cérémonie de signature de l'accord a été suivie par des responsables des deux organisations, dont le vice-président de Kospo, Gu Tae-eon, et le directeur exécutif de Coupang, Jeon Kyeong-soo, et grâce à l'accord, les deux parties ont convenu d'établir un système de coopération conjoint pour le développement de l'industrie de l'IA.
