덱스터스튜디오(이하 덱스터)는 일본 영상 제작사 에피스코프(EPISCOPE)가 제작하는 드라마 T(가제)의 시각효과(VFX) 기술 공급 계약을 체결했다고 21일 밝혔다.
이번 계약의 총 금액은 약 58억 2천만 원이며, 계약 기간은 2025년 7월 18일부터 2027년 1월 29일까지다. 덱스터는 해당 기간 동안 드라마 제작에 필요한 VFX 전반을 담당하게 된다.
덱스터는 그동안 일본 콘텐츠 시장을 중심으로 다양한 글로벌 프로젝트를 수행해왔다. 일본 만화를 원작으로 한 할리우드 영화 세인트 세이야: 더 비기닝, 넷플릭스 영화 시티헌터, 실사 드라마 유유백서 등 일본 제작사와 협업한 사례가 이어지고 있다.
또한 넷플릭스 시리즈 기생수: 더 그레이와 유유백서의 VFX 제작도 덱스터가 맡았으며, 두 작품 모두 2024 아시아콘텐츠어워즈 & 글로벌OTT어워즈에서 베스트 디지털 VFX 작품상 후보에 올랐다. 이 중 기생수: 더 그레이는 실제 수상작으로 선정됐다.
회사 관계자는 “덱스터는 일본 제작 환경과 지식재산(IP)에 대한 높은 이해도를 바탕으로 기술 협력을 지속하고 있으며, 일본과 중국 등 다양한 해외 제작사와의 협업 경험을 기반으로 글로벌 시장 참여를 확대해 나가고 있다”고 밝혔다.

Dexter Studios Signs 5.8 Billion Won VFX Production Contract with Japanese Production Company 'Episcope'
Dexter Studios (hereinafter referred to as Dexter) announced on the 21st that it has signed a contract to supply visual effects (VFX) technology for the drama T (tentative title) produced by Japanese video production company Episcope.
The total amount of this contract is approximately 5.82 billion won, and the contract period is from July 18, 2025 to January 29, 2027. Dexter will be in charge of all VFX required for drama production during that period.
Dexter has been working on various global projects centered on the Japanese content market. There are many cases of collaboration with Japanese production companies, such as the Hollywood film Saint Seiya: The Beginning based on a Japanese manga, the Netflix film City Hunter, and the live-action drama Yu Yu Hakusho.
Dexter also produced the VFX for the Netflix series Parasyte: The Gray and Yu Yu Hakusho, both of which were nominated for the Best Digital VFX Award at the 2024 Asia Contents Awards & Global OTT Awards. Of these, Parasyte: The Gray was selected as the actual winner.
A company official stated, “Dexter is continuing its technological collaboration based on its high level of understanding of the Japanese production environment and intellectual property (IP), and is expanding its participation in the global market based on its experience collaborating with various overseas production companies, including those in Japan and China.”

デクスタースタジオ（以下、デクスター）は日本映像製作会社エピスコープ（EPISCOPE）が製作するドラマT（仮題）の視覚効果（VFX）技術供給契約を締結したと21日明らかにした。
今回の契約の総金額は約58億2千万ウォンであり、契約期間は2025年7月18日から2027年1月29日までだ。デクスターはその期間中ドラマ制作に必要なVFX全般を担当することになる。
デクスターはこれまで日本コンテンツ市場を中心に様々なグローバルプロジェクトを行ってきた。日本漫画を原作としたハリウッド映画セント・セイヤー: ザ・ビギニング、ネットフリックス映画シティハンター、実写ドラマ乳白書など日本製作会社とコラボした事例が続いている。
また、Netflixシリーズ寄生数：ザ・グレーとユユ・ホワイトペーパーのVFX制作もデクスターが務め、両作品とも2024アジアコンテンツアワード＆グローバルOTTアワードでベストデジタルVFX作品賞候補に上がった。このうち寄生数：ザ・グレーは実際の受賞作に選ばれた。
会社関係者は「デクスターは日本製作環境と知識財産(IP)に対する高い理解度をもとに技術協力を続けており、日本や中国など多様な海外製作会社とのコラボレーション経験に基づいてグローバル市場参加を拡大していく」と明らかにした。

此次合约总金额约为58.2亿韩元，合约期限为2025年7月18日至2027年1月29日，在此期间Dexter将负责电视剧制作所需的全部VFX视觉特效工作。
Dexter 一直致力于以日本内容市场为中心的各种全球项目。他与日本制作公司合作的案例很多，例如根据日本漫画改编的好莱坞电影《圣斗士星矢：起源》、Netflix 电影《城市猎人》以及真人剧《幽游白书》。

Dexter Studios (ci-après dénommé Dexter) a annoncé le 21 avoir signé un contrat pour fournir une technologie d'effets visuels (VFX) pour le drame T (titre provisoire) produit par la société de production vidéo japonaise Episcope.
Le montant total de ce contrat est d'environ 5,82 milliards de wons et la période du contrat s'étend du 18 juillet 2025 au 29 janvier 2027. Dexter sera en charge de tous les effets visuels nécessaires à la production dramatique pendant cette période.
Dexter a travaillé sur divers projets internationaux axés sur le marché japonais. Il a collaboré à de nombreuses reprises avec des sociétés de production japonaises, comme le film hollywoodien Saint Seiya : Le Commencement, adapté d'un manga japonais, le film Netflix City Hunter et le drame live-action Yu Yu Hakusho.
