무인항공기 전문기업 ㈜에이디시스템(대표 김정호)은 총 30억 원 규모의 Pre-A 투자 유치를 마무리했다고 8일 밝혔다.
이번 투자 라운드에는 ▲UTC인베스트먼트 ▲대교인베스트먼트 ▲IBK기업은행 ▲JB인베스트먼트 ▲고려대학교기술지주회사 등 다수의 기관투자자가 참여했다. 에이디시스템은 2019년 설립된 이후 설계, 제작, 양산 전 과정을 독자적으로 수행할 수 있는 기술 내재화를 바탕으로 시장에서 경쟁력을 높여왔다.
앞서 2024년 10월에는 JB벤처스로부터 약 3억 원의 시드 투자를 유치했고, 중소벤처기업부의 기술 창업 지원 프로그램 ‘딥테크 팁스(Deep Tech TIPS)’에 선정되며 연구개발 기반을 확보한 바 있다.
에이디시스템은 국내 무인항공기 분야 최초로 스텔스 기능을 갖춘 수직이착륙(VTOL) 무인기 ‘AD‑3000’을 상용화했다. AD‑3000은 최대 3시간의 비행이 가능하며, 정찰 임무에 특화된 모델로 현재 국내 중소기업 및 육군에 공급되고 있다. 이를 바탕으로, 완전 스텔스 기반의 공격형 무인기 ‘AD‑4000’의 개발에도 착수했다. 해당 모델은 레이더 반사율을 최소화하고 무기 탑재가 가능한 플랫폼으로, 향후 전력 증강에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
JB벤처스 관계자는 “에이디시스템은 시드 투자 단계에서부터 기술적 완성도와 시장성 측면에서 주목받아 왔다”며 “Pre-A 라운드에서 다수의 기관투자자로부터 투자를 유치한 만큼, 글로벌 시장에서의 성장 가능성도 높게 평가된다”고 전했다.
에이디시스템 김정호 대표는 “이번 Pre-A 투자를 통해 기술력과 사업성이 동시에 검증된 만큼, R&D 고도화와 생산 역량 강화를 통해 국내외 시장 진출을 본격화할 계획”이라고 밝혔다.

AD System secures 3 billion won in investment
AD System Co., Ltd. (CEO Jeong-ho Kim) , a drone specialist company, announced on the 8th that it has completed attracting Pre-A investment totaling 3 billion won.
This round of investment saw participation from numerous institutional investors, including UTC Investment, Daekyo Investment, IBK Industrial Bank of Korea, JB Investment, and Korea University Technology Holdings. Since its founding in 2019, AD System has been enhancing its market competitiveness by internalizing its technology, enabling it to independently perform all stages of design, manufacturing, and mass production.
In October 2024, the company secured a seed investment of approximately 300 million won from JB Ventures and secured a research and development foundation by being selected for the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' technology startup support program 'Deep Tech TIPS'.
AD System has commercialized the AD-3000, a vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) UAV equipped with stealth capabilities, the first of its kind in Korea. Capable of flying for up to three hours, the AD-3000 is a model specialized for reconnaissance missions and is currently being supplied to domestic small and medium-sized enterprises and the Army. Building on this success, the company has also begun development of the AD-4000, a fully stealthy attack UAV. This model, with its minimal radar reflectivity and weapons-capable platform, is expected to contribute to future military bolstering.
A JB Ventures official said, “AD System has been attracting attention for its technological perfection and marketability since the seed investment stage,” and “As it has attracted investments from numerous institutional investors in the Pre-A round, its growth potential in the global market is also highly evaluated.”
AD System CEO Kim Jeong-ho stated, “With this Pre-A investment, we have verified both our technological prowess and business viability. We plan to accelerate our entry into the domestic and international markets by enhancing our R&D and production capabilities.”
