On the 22nd, IBK Changgong Gwangju Center successfully held “IBK Changgong Gwangju 2nd PRE DEMO DAY” at Gwangju Real Content Cube MX Studio. About 50 people including investors and related organizations attended the event.
A total of 11 companies participated in the presentation at this event, including ‘Zendive Co., Ltd.’, a solution company that develops AI services easily and quickly as part of the 2nd IBK Changgong program; ‘Smart Arc Co., Ltd.’, a solution company that automates mass production of plant cultivation using AI; and ‘Metapas Co., Ltd.’, a platform company that manages solar power plants using drones and AI.
On this day, the pre-demo day was divided into Part 1 and Part 2. In Part 1, presentations were given by ICONX Co., Ltd., Ice Linker Co., Ltd., DR Cure Co., Ltd., Smart Arc Co., Ltd., Mold Co., Ltd., and Metapas Co., Ltd. In Part 2, presentations were given by Korea Deep Learning Co., Ltd., Crabs Co., Ltd., Pewit Co., Ltd., Zendive Co., Ltd., and Rex Innovation Co., Ltd.
The IBK Changgong program is an IBK-type startup incubation platform that systematically supports financial and non-financial services supported by IBK, with the meaning of “flying into the sky through Changgong (創工).” IBK Changgong provides selected companies with office space, education and mentoring, sales channel development, HR, investment and loans, etc.
IBK Changgong Gwangju Plant Manager Kim Jin-hyung said, “I am glad that we can introduce the companies fostered by IBK Changgong Gwangju to investors through this pre-demo day,” and added, “We plan to do our best to support the companies we foster so that they can lead to investments in the future.”
Meanwhile, IBK Changgong Gwangju 3rd batch of 10 companies will be recruited until Friday, May 2. The target of recruitment is a startup company less than 7 years old, and the selected companies will be provided with office space, education and mentoring, sales channel development, HR, investment and loans, etc. from July to November 2025.
