
The Korea Accelerator Association (KAIA, Chairman Jeon Hwa-seong, hereinafter referred to as KAIA) will hold a seminar on the topic of ‘The Future of AC! AI and Venture Studios?’ at Union Square, Myungwoo Building, Tipstown, Seoul from 3 PM to 6 PM on Thursday, July 24. This seminar will diagnose the impact of data-based artificial intelligence technology on startup acceleration and provide policy suggestions to look into the future direction of the venture studio model. Participation is free.
This seminar is hosted by KAIA, organized by Factsheet Inc. , and sponsored by Venture Square Inc. , The Invention Lab Inc. , Mark & Company Inc. , and CNT Tech Inc. Approximately 100 people, including startup accelerators (AC), venture capitalists (VC), venture studios, and startup support operating organizations, are expected to attend.
The seminar program consists of a total of four presentation sessions, panel discussions, and networking. In the first session, Jinyoung Kim, CEO of The Invention Lab, will present on the topic of ‘Evolution of the Global Venture Studio Model and Data-Based Startup Design.’ Following this, Kyungpyo Hong, CEO of Mark & Company, Sehee Ham, CEO of Factsheet, and Daero Won, CEO of Wilt Venture Builder, will present on data-based investment, accelerating services changing with AI, and global early-stage investment market differentiation and new opportunities in the AI era, respectively.
The panel discussion will be attended by President of the Korea Early-stage Investment Accelerator Association, Jeong-eun Myeong, CEO of Venture Square (moderator), Jin-young Kim, and Dae-ro Won. They will share their insights on the topics of ‘AI-based acceleration’ and ‘innovation of venture studio structure’, and there will also be a Q&A session with the audience.
The President of the Korea Early Investment Accelerator Association, Jeon Hwa-seong, said, “This seminar will be a place to diagnose what kind of paradigm shift the introduction of AI technology and data utilization will bring to the method of investing in and supporting early-stage startups, and to explore the roles and opportunities of AC and venture studios together.” He added, “We will also continue discussions at the association level to design a sustainable startup ecosystem based on voices from policy and the industrial field.”
