디지털 헬스케어 기업 휴이노는 자사가 개발한 혈중 산소포화도 측정 의료기기 ‘MEMO Band’가 식품의약품안전처(이하 식약처)로부터 의료기기 허가를 취득했다고 14일 밝혔다.
MEMO Band는 손목 착용형 본체와 손가락 센서로 구성된 웨어러블 형태의 펄스옥시미터로, 최대 5일간 연속으로 혈중 산소포화도(SpO₂) 측정이 가능하다. 본 기기를 통해 측정된 심박수 및 산소포화도 수치는 디스플레이에 실시간으로 표시되며, 동시에 무선 통신을 통해 휴이노의 심전도 모니터링 솔루션 ‘MEMO Cue’의 환자 종합 관제 시스템으로 전송되어 의료진의 원격 모니터링을 지원한다.
해당 제품은 건강보험심사평가원에 등록된 ‘경피적 혈액 산소포화도 측정(E7230)’ 항목으로 수가 청구가 가능하여, 환자의 경제적 부담 완화에 도움이 될 수 있다.
휴이노는 MEMO Band의 활용 범위를 병원 입원 환자의 연속적 생체 신호 모니터링을 넘어, 장기 요양기관 또는 자택에서의 만성 질환자 관리까지 확대할 수 있을 것으로 기대하고 있다. 특히, 현재 국내에서는 재택의료 관련 수가 제도가 마련되어 있지 않지만, 향후 제도화될 경우 원격 환자 모니터링 분야에서 MEMO Band의 활용도가 높아질 것으로 예상된다. 이에 더해, 회사는 재택의료 인프라가 이미 구축되어 있는 미국, 일본 등 해외 시장 진출도 추진할 계획이다.
휴이노 길영준 대표는 “이번 식약처 허가는 MEMO Band의 안전성과 유효성을 공인받은 결과로, 의료 현장에서 실시간 생체 신호 데이터를 기반으로 한 임상의사결정지원시스템의 기반을 더욱 공고히 하게 됐다”며, “MEMO Band를 통해 병원과 재택 현장에서 임상적으로 유의미한 정보를 제공하고, 인공지능 기술과 연계한 진료 지원 시스템 고도화를 지속 추진할 것”이라고 밝혔다.

Huino Receives Approval for Pulse Oximeter 'MEMO Band' from Ministry of Food and Drug Safety
Digital healthcare company Huino announced on the 14th that its blood oxygen saturation measuring medical device 'MEMO Band' has received medical device approval from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (hereinafter referred to as the MFDS).
MEMO Band is a wearable pulse oximeter consisting of a wrist-worn body and a finger sensor, and can measure blood oxygen saturation (SpO₂) for up to 5 days continuously. The heart rate and oxygen saturation values measured by this device are displayed in real time on the display, and are simultaneously transmitted via wireless communication to the patient comprehensive control system of Huino’s electrocardiogram monitoring solution ‘MEMO Cue’ to support remote monitoring by medical staff.
This product is registered with the Health Insurance Review & Assessment Service as a ‘transcutaneous blood oxygen saturation measurement (E7230)’ item, so it can be billed, which can help alleviate the financial burden on patients.
Huino expects that the scope of MEMO Band’s application will expand beyond continuous vital signs monitoring of hospitalized patients to long-term care facilities or management of chronic patients at home. In particular, although there is currently no home healthcare fee system in Korea, if it is institutionalized in the future, the utilization of MEMO Band in the field of remote patient monitoring is expected to increase. In addition, the company plans to advance into overseas markets such as the US and Japan, where home healthcare infrastructure is already established.
Huino CEO Gil Young-jun said, “This MFDS approval is the result of acknowledging the safety and efficacy of the MEMO Band, and it has further solidified the foundation of a clinical decision support system based on real-time bio-signal data in medical settings.” He added, “We will continue to provide clinically meaningful information in hospitals and at-home settings through the MEMO Band, and to advance the treatment support system linked to artificial intelligence technology.”

ヒューイノ・ギル・ヨンジュン代表は「今回の食薬処許可はMEMO Bandの安全性と有効性を認定された結果で、医療現場でリアルタイム生体信号データを基盤とした臨床医の決定支援システムの基盤をさらに強固にすることになった」とし、「MEMO Bandを通じて病院と在宅現場で臨床的に有臨支援システムの高度化を継続推進するだろう」と明らかにした。

Huino reçoit l'approbation du ministère de la Sécurité alimentaire et pharmaceutique pour son oxymètre de pouls « MEMO Band »
La société de soins de santé numériques Huino a annoncé le 14 que son dispositif médical de mesure de la saturation en oxygène du sang « MEMO Band » avait reçu l'approbation du ministère de la Sécurité alimentaire et pharmaceutique (ci-après dénommé le MFDS) en tant que dispositif médical.
MEMO Band est un oxymètre de pouls portable composé d'un corps porté au poignet et d'un capteur au doigt, et peut mesurer la saturation en oxygène du sang (SpO₂) jusqu'à cinq jours en continu. La fréquence cardiaque et les niveaux de saturation en oxygène mesurés par cet appareil sont affichés en temps réel sur l'écran et sont transmis simultanément via une communication sans fil au système de contrôle complet du patient de la solution de surveillance de l'électrocardiogramme de Huino « MEMO Cue », prenant en charge la surveillance à distance par le personnel médical.
Ce produit est enregistré auprès du Health Insurance Review & Assessment Service en tant qu'élément de « mesure de la saturation en oxygène du sang transcutané (E7230) », il peut donc être facturé, ce qui peut contribuer à alléger la charge financière des patients.
Huino s'attend à ce que le champ d'application du MEMO Band s'étende au-delà de la surveillance continue des signes vitaux des patients hospitalisés à la gestion des patients atteints de maladies chroniques dans les établissements de soins de longue durée ou à domicile.
