Bose noise-masking sleepbuds are a set of smart earplugs for your good night sleep. Developed by Bose, a global leader in audio systems, they are designed to help those who find trouble to stay asleep at night due to noise. At a glance, they look no different from wireless earphones.
While Bose was developing its own smart earplugs named HUSH, it found out a startup working on a similar product and decided to collaborate to create a prototype. The sleepbuds keep you away from the sound of car horns, voices and dog barking. Equipped with Bose’s proprietary ultra-small tips made of soft, pliable silicone, they conform to your ears’ shape and fit comfortably and snugly in place. By downloading Bose Sleep app, you can select sound you’d like to hear and even set the optional wake-up alarm.
The charger has a thin round shape. When fully charged, you can use it for two consecutive days. You need to sleep well to stay healthy, but you cannot be totally free from noise during your bedtime. Bose noise-masking sleepbuds, however, are to help change that masking unwanted noise in the bedroom and replacing it with soothing sounds.
Interestingly, Bose raised funds for this product through Indiegogo, a crowdfunding site. There is no need to invest in large corporations like Boss, but it can be attractive because demand confirmation and extensive monitoring are possible depending on how much funds are collected. Actual product launches are scheduled for 2018, but the product can be customized to reflect the results of the previous monitoring. More information about the product can be found here.
